This is a fantastic hotel. I got ready for my wedding here and the attention to detail was perfect. I felt like the staff really helped my day go smoothly and it was much appreciated. Service was excellent without feeling pretentious. Rooms were gorgeous and comfortable. I will absolutely be back. Thank you to everyone at the Ivy!

Yes to staying at the rich auntie's house. That is exactly what this felt like to me. I'd been eyeing this place for a while and it's been on my list. And when the pandemic hit, we needed more local spots to explore. So, we finally found a few nights open during a time we were available and booked a couple of nights (psst...save your coins for this one).

My husband REALLLY enjoyed and was WOWed. He isn't the easiest to WOW🤔 me neither probably😂.

This was an amazing experience for the price. I couldn’t find a speck of dust anywhere. The high tea and breakfast was delightful. The flavors at the restaurant were perfect. The hospitality and attentiveness of the service was exceptional. The spa was my favorite part. I’d highly recommend to couples.

The Ivy Hotel was more than I imagined. The hour and a half drive to this piece of heaven tucked away in the city of Baltimore was well worth it. The only black owned, luxury boutique hotel in the area. The valet, the doorman, personal concierge and staff were excellent. I’m not sure what I enjoyed more.. my private spa quarters or the daily tea time that took place in the tea room of the mansion. Chamomile and warm scones.. just delightful. 👌🏽

This is the best hotel I have ever stayed in. My wife and I got the baby moon package for one night. We arrived for afternoon tea which was phenomenal, followed by a couples massage which was outstanding (my first ever massage!). Dinner at Magdalena was spot on--I got a cocktail and steak. Breakfast the next morning was also great. Overall, the service and atmosphere left me wanting more.

I'm always looking to support Black businesses so when I heard about the Ivy Hotel I knew I'd eventually patronize. When I started planning a romantic staycation for my husband and I, I immediately thought of this hotel. They had a package for a night's stay plus a sunset cruise so I booked it. When I called to book, the computer was down so I was told my card would be charged the next day and I'd receive my confirmation once it was charged. My wife and I stayed this past weekend for our anniversary. I can honestly say my only regret is that we did not stay longer. EVERY part of the experience was superb. We chose The Ivy Hotel for our intimate wedding ceremony and dinner. Then we stayed in the hotel for 2 days. The Ivy was perfect all around. Anna, our coordinator, was outstanding throughout the planning and on our wedding day. Anthony, our officiant, was wonderful for our ceremony. Every staff member we encountered was gracious and helpful. The attention to detail and service in the hotel is amazing. The food at Magdalena was delicious. It is an absolutely stunning boutique hotel and we enjoyed every moment spent in it for our wedding celebration!

Everyone who works at The Ivy takes their job seriously and it changes the experience into something magical. Josh the manager is extremely kind and knowledgable. Terrell out in front with valet is patient and warm. Everyone made a two day stay absolutely charming even under the thumb of a pandemic. We felt safe and well taken care of.

I stayed for one night in December as a birthday treat, and wish I would have stayed longer. The hotel is GORGEOUS- uniquely decorated in common areas and rooms. I stayed in room 16 which was a nice size. My bf says we have the most comfortable bed at home and hotel beds never compare- he couldnt say the same here. Super comfortable bedding.. loved that they had a little charcuterie and bottle of wine as a welcome (along with the welcome glass of champagne given in the lobby). Valet was complimentary and friendly (greeting me by name on the street-WOW!), and the hotel employee gave a little tour

Upon my arrival, both Nicole and Damany possessed a spirit of service, gladness and total pampering for my special day! No task was too great or small and they were attentive to our every need. Most notably, I chose to indulge in the Champagne & Bergamot Body Bliss Body Ritual with Nicole as my massage therapist, and she was simply phenomenal!! Having travelled extensively and experienced quite a number of massage therapists, I count Nicole in my top 5

I booked a suite for one night for my birthday and this is one experience in the dmv you must partake in. The massage was divine and the service was excellent. I consider myself a low maintenance guest but any thing that I did ask the answer was always "absolutely". Breakfast was melt in your mouth good. It was just the spot for relaxation that I was looking for. I'll definitely be booking soon for other family members.

One of the best quality hotel that feels home-y.The service here was perfect. Everyone here was so friendly and always tried to make small conversation! I've gone here as a birthday gift and with that being said, everyone in the hotel knew it was my birthday and wished me a happy birthday. The staff elegant and warm, they seem to truly enjoy making your stay the best that it can be, and nothing is too much trouble for them.
From the moment you arrive you will feel like the most important guess that has ever checked in there.
We loved their"no tipping", it seems to raise the level of comfort to being there.
The amenities and the provisions in the room were so thoughtful, included the items they left for our West Highland Terrier.

Simply the most fantastic and elegant boutique hotel we have visited in some time! It's a historic, visual masterpiece with eye candy all around. Each room has its own special charm, no short of detail.
The staff is incredibly hospitable, helpful and friendly. As a 'no-tip' property, it is pleasant to not always have that awkward moment after every bit of service.

Awwww, Ivy Hotel, again you have exceeded my expectations. Back to the hotel to celebrate my mother's birthday along with my cousin. We decided to make it a girls weekend trip.
This time I retreated to this "Oasis of Lodging" during the winter which made the vibe different yet just as pleasurable. I was able to explore the hotel and ask more questions about its history and take advantage of staying in and relaxing (due to the frigid temperatures outside), without over planning things to do. In some ways, I found this winter excursion had more gems to offer.
