I'm a Personal Trainer and Nutritionist in Wilmington, NC. I work with a wide range of clients: from athletes, to surgeons, to soccer moms to my mom. My ideal client is anyone with a goal, a positive attitude and a willingness to work hard. Everybody is different, so training programs are based on your individual goals and needs.

During your initial consultation we will create a plan that fits your life and your goals. Follow-up sessions will provide direction, accountability, and support. Programs that are tailored to the needs of your business. Workshops include: Ergonomics, workplace stretching, nutrition seminars, and wellness challenges.
What is energy balance? Energy balance is the relationship between energy in (food calories taken into the body through food and drink) and energy out (calories being used in the body for our daily energy requirements). How to stay fit while on the road? Hey guys, as you know it's hard to stay fit when working out in hotel gyms and eating at chain restaurants.
Since I started training with Josh, over a year ago, my short and long distance race times have dramatically reduced! As a busy mom I appreciate Josh's comprehensive approach to help me become a faster, stronger, and healthier version of myself! He's a game changer! After training with Josh, I lost 75 lbs and normalized my blood pressure, eliminating any need for medication.

I’ve known Josh for over 20 years. He has helped me reach my all of my fitness goals from running the NYC marathon to surfing in -30 degree winter snow storms. He has an excellent knowledge of body mechanics, injury recovery, and nutrition. He has a tailored approach to each of his clients. Making sure the training he provides meets all of the individuals needs. I highly recommend Josh!

Josh has been an amazing trainer, very knowledgeable, kind, and patient. He has such a great way of keeping me focused during our sessions. If your able to meet Josh and train with him you will see why the reviews are the way they are! His energy and passion for fitness and life is contagious. He worked with my son (14) to become a healthier and active person. He talk about nurturtion and got him excited about wanting to eat healthy!!!!! It even crossed over to make me evaluate my input of nutrition. He really does a great job explaining the exercise movement and over all trying to help you get the results! Cash was now found a live for running- Great job and hope we can get back on a schedule!

Josh is a phenomenal trainer! I have trained with him 1-2 times a week for close to 5 years. Over that time as I experienced aches or pains from an active life and work he was always able to get me back to wellness. He is certified in so many areas that his knowledge base is immense. I like his approach for meeting my goals. Which is to keep strength and long term wellness. Over time we discussed sleep, nutrition, joint health and so many other topics of wellness that I firmly believe have altered my trajectory of life expectancy. That’s a very strong statement. I have been into health and fitness my entire life and Josh is by far the most knowledgeable personal trainer I have had the pleasure to work with. He understands the human body so well and has a gift for communicating things so easily, I thought he must have gone to med school.
