Specifically, our clients are Black women and men seeking healthy relationships with themselves and others as they work towards building healthy families in the midst of healing from race related traumas.These traumas could the result of longstanding painful experiences from childhood, feelings of oppression from your work or school environment, or even pain felt from today's current cultural climate.

Services
Taylor Counseling and Consulting Services is a small affirming practice that provides comprehensive, mental health services to people of all walks of life. We pride ourselves on fostering an environment of healing, clarity, and direction through the power of healthy connection. We emphasize a strengths-based approach to treatment, as we acknowledge the unique qualities of every human being.
We specialize in the following client concerns with an underlying emphasis on cultural healing, strength and wellness. Cash, check, or major credit cards accepted for payment. We consider your appointments with us very important, and we ask that you do the same. If you do not attend a scheduled appointment, and you have not notified us at least 24 hours in advance, you will be required to pay half the cost of the session.
As a Licensed Professional Counselor, Dr. Taylor provides clinical supervision to fit your professional needs. She offers weekly, bi-monthly and monthly supervision. She also functions as a consultant to practicing clinicians. Supervision is provided in her office in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Dr. Taylor is an approved LPC Supervisor by the Virginia Board of Counseling.
