Use caution when reserving a shuttle. Last trip I booked a shuttle but it ended up being a compact SUV. There were 3 other passengers, so it was a cramped ride.
Would have preferred paying the extra $30-$50 for a door to door private car if I had know this ahead of time.
Prices are otherwise competitive for the NY/CT area. Service and drivers are mixed.

CT Limo is under new ownership as of May 2019. Change review sort to "most recent" to see current reviews, not the 200 plus old reviews.
The previous owner managed to rack up a one star average over many reviews.

I am a professor at a university in the southeast US. In February, I scheduled and paid for transportation for 6 students, another faculty member, and myself with CT Limo for a conference at Yale University, scheduled for Apr 3-5, 2020. A total of $500 for this transportation! Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, my university cancelled all domestic travel. I reached out to the company requesting a refund, even if it was a partial refund. I was told my payment was non-refundable, even though I was cancelling well before the conference. I have emailed the company trying to plead my case. They will give

Worst experience ever, wish I had read yelp reviews before I used them. Super unreliable service , and almost impossible to get a refund even it is their fault- unless you want their "store credit" which would expire in about 1 year. I do not plan to use these credit ever. Anyway, a lesson learned, will never deal with them again.

Seriously the worst service ever! After having numerous terrible experiences I decided to give them one last shot--BIGGEST mistake! After the shuttle was 20 min late, we drove 20 min and then decided to turn around and go back and wait 20 min for another passenger so after 1 hour-I had literally made no progress on my trip. Will NEVER use this service again!

Nowhere does it say it on their website but these shuttles sometimes only run every 2 hours.
What happened to us is we booked a reservation at Hartford, plane arrived at 9:05-which Connecticut Limo knew our flight and time, and they left and the next shuttle did not come until 11:00pm -so we took Uber. Uber was only $10 more BTW.

The day before I left for my trip I booked a shared shuttle to Danbury from LGA and vise versa a week later, when I touched down in NY I made sure I had enough time before the shuttle arrived to charge my phone and speak to the clerk. She then told me that I'd be traveling in a stretch limo, this may sound like a pleasant surprise, but I as an 17 year old girl traveling alone, was unsure if he was the actual car I needed or someone trying to kidnap me.

Just a miserable experience from start to finish. Contacted CT Limo by phone, held for a representative for several minutes, and was then hung up on. Redialed, finally connected with a rep who said I didn't need a reservation to go from JFK to Hartford - just go to the counter at JFK and I'd be all set.
Upon arrival at JFK I'm informed it will be up to 60 minutes before the shuttle leaves, which I can understand. 30 minutes later, I'm told there will be no shuttles to Hartford that evening - no other explanation offered.

We had a very large meeting this week consisting of executives from various countries.
Strike 1: I tried booking transportation for our VP from Mexico and found Connecticut Limo does not accept international credit cards. I had to pay for it up front and bill back Mexico's cost center - this would have been a MAJOR issue if my exec wasn't from our same organization.

I waited 2 hours for my shuttle to arrive. When scheduling, they ask for your flight and arrival time but that doesn't matter because they'll come when they are ready.
The process at JFK requires you to pick up your luggage and go to Grand Transport Service counter to check-in. They then find the service you scheduled with and call the company. After watching a stream of other companies walk by and pick up their customers, I stood waiting. You stand by the service desk because they simply call out your name when the driver is there.

I have to say that the reviews scared me. A relentless stream of absolutely scathing, one star reviews. But there were no other good options for getting to the airport so I left myself PLENTY of extra time. I went online and made a reservation for a shared shuttle for the next day.

I wish I'd read these reviews before I booked my trip! Clearly Connecticut Limo doesn't care at all whether their customers are happy with their service.
I arrived at the International Terminal at JFK right on schedule and checked in at the ground transportation desk shortly before 9 pm. I was told that the shuttle would arrive in 45 minutes to an hour. It actually arrived after 10 pm. I purchased a round trip ticket between Milford & JFK. The trip to JFK was fine. When I returned to JFK on the flight, on the date and time I reserved CL was not there. I called to let them know that I was there and I was told I would have to wait for a few hours.for a 90 minute ride! CL had my flight info when the reservation was made. I sought alternative transportation instead. Trying to get a refund for the no show was a joke. No customer service available. No response. This company is not a good choice. Never book a round trip as they will stiff you for the return trip.

I'm sitting in the shuttle right now, upset at myself for not listening to other Yelp reviews. CT limo is an awful service. I arrived at jfk and went to the service desk where I made a reservation. The attendant told me to wait as the driver would arrive in 25-30 minutes; he arrived in about 20. Once I got in the van with two other passengers and Paid the $68 to Norwalk train station, we began to just drive around jfk looking for more passengers. We did for just under an hour, visiting terminals on multiple occasions to see if there's anyone else. After a few stops one passenger got off
