Martinez Legal was founded in 2017 by the managing partner, Marci Martinez. Our areas of practice include Family Law (both contested and uncontested matters) and Estate Planning. We serve the surrounding areas of Denton, Corinth, Sanger, Hickory Creek, Lewisville, Little Elm, Flower Mound, Highland Village, and Wise & Collin Counties.
For family law cases, a retainer is set at the end of your consult. Each retainer is different based on the needs, court settings, complexity of the case, etc. For estate planning cases, there is only a flat fee for estate planning services. Please contact us for estate planning package options. In the state of Texas, the divorce may not be made final until at least 60 days after the divorce petition has been filed with the Court.

Texas is a community property state. This means any property acquired during the marriage is characterized as community, regardless of whose name the property is in.
