Bella Capelli Salon is a partnership between Gina Coonrad and Kirby Kelly with a goal of delivering a high-quality salon experience to customers in Durham, NC at reasonable prices. Both Gina and Kirby have several decades of professional hair styling experience. Gina Coonrad started her career as a stylist in 1995 by attending cosmetology school in New York.
Please understand that our stylist's time is valuable. We also know that emergencies do happen. Please try and give at least a 24-hour notice, for cancellation of an appointment. For your convenience, Bella Capelli Salon provides text message reminders 24 hours prior to your appointment. Please keep your Bella Capelli hair stylist informed of any changes in your contact information.
Gina Coonrad started her career as a stylist in 1995 by attending cosmetology school in New York. While attending classes she also apprenticed at a well established salon. Upon graduation in 1996 she completed her apprenticeship and began working as a full-time stylist. Gina prides herself on her ability to listen to what her clients want and then delivering and surpassing their expectations.
At Bella Capelli Salon, we use only the best professional hairstyling products on your hair. Our product lines include but are not limited to KEVIN.MURPHY, Onesta, Thermafuse, Wella and Peter Coppola Keratin Concept. Born from the same philosophy as skincare, KEVIN.MURPHY products are WEIGHTLESSLY designed to deliver PERFORMANCE, STRENGTH and LONGEVITY.
Booth Rentals are available at Bella Capelli (984)219-1880 $55 off of your weekly rent for the first 3 months. Bella Capelli Salon, an Open Concept Salon, has a few spots available in a great location just minutes from Southpoint Mall. We are looking for professional hairstylists to join our team. You set your own schedule.

ROSE ROSE ROSE and ROSE! I went here for a layered haircut but didn’t want any length taken off. I was super nervous going because I hate getting my hair cut due to people always chopping it off. However, Rose was so patient and kind and did a FANTASTIC job. 10/10 recommend this salon!

I love this salon !!!! My new favorite place !!! When you walk in your immediately greeted and your temperature is taken . You are then seated at one of there beautiful stations . And your hair experience begins. These amazing ladies are very attentive and concerned about what you want to have done. I will be definitely be going back .

I went to the salon today to get lowlights put in my hair and I just have to give MISS ROSE a huge shout out!!! I love the color line she uses and she did a phenomenal job with my hair today! I am absolutely in love. I don’t think she has one of those fancy Instagram hair accounts but I couldn’t let her go unnoticed! If you are around the RDU please go check out rose at Bella capelli salon! All of them are so amazing, make you feel welcome and the seating is spread out enough to social distance! Kirby has been cutting my hair for at least 10 years. While I've alway had relatively good stylists, Kirby is, by far, the most skilled professional. She is the first person to ever cut my hair as I really wanted it done. She has fantastic listening skills, takes the time to understand completely, and is extremely kind. I can't recommend her enough! Thank you!! :-)

Kirby has been cutting my hair for about 15 years. I truly cannot say enough good things about her. She really listens to your "hair vision" and delivers the most amazing results every single time. The rest of the stylists at Bella Capelli are absolutely wonderful as well. Everyone is so friendly and professional. You will not be disappointed if you go here! I currently live out in Wendell and drive about 40 minutes to come to Bella Capelli because it is SO worth it <3.

Gina and her team do a great job, make you feel at home, and I feel like I stumbled on this treasure of a salon. I've never really had a stylist, and it was time to stop the Aveda frustrations and become an adult. Price wise it was so reasonable, my daughter's haircut was about $17 and she felt like a princess. I'm excited for another "treat yo self" day at Bella Capelli soon! I highly recommend!

This salon is exactly what I had been looking for and words can not accurately describe just how much I love it. I had tried out several local salons over a decade and had mediocre experiences but nothing that really felt like a true fit. Some places were too uppity, others too blah or sterile feeling. I'd get a cut or color elsewhere and be so horrified I wouldn't want to come back. It all changed the moment I learned about Bella Capelli. Gina is amazing and has been able to consistently provide excellent cuts and color that look amazing, work well with my super fine super straight hair, AND match

I would just like to shout out to Rebecca Seedorf for giving my hair life!
Our first meeting was in March where my hair was a complete disaster and she transformed it so beautifully. I wasn't sure if I was ever going to love having short hair, but now I wouldn't want it any other way. She is not only an amazing hair stylist, but a wonderful person and our conversations are always fun and exciting. I recently just got my hair done again, and I am seriously still blown away. I absolutely love it and will continue going to this salon and having Rebecca as my hair stylist.

I am soooooo glad that I found Gina a few months ago when I moved back to Durham! I love, love, love the finesse and style that she adds to my pixie cut! The cut looks great on day one, and it still looks fabulous 5 weeks later. Gina is a sweetie, and the salon is inviting and pretty! Very happy! :)
