We finish our season in December with "Make 'Em Laugh!" This show will feature two very funny one act plays (The Audition by Matt Thompson and The Setup by PJ Roup) along with comedic songs from some very talented singers and musicians. The story is about a young, carefree, single bachelor in New Jersey named Nick.
If you are interested auditioning for any of the above plays or musical, please fill in the contact information below. You do not need to have prior acting experience to audition. Bringing a head shot is optional. If you can, please bring any memorized monologue to the audition, we would love to see it.

Browse the photos of the first year of plays and events at the Iron Horse Community Theatre. The setting was a walk-up apartment on Manhattan's West Side where Frankie (a waitress played by Amy Ellefson) and Johnny (a short-order cook played by Tom Mirth) were discovered in bed. Ellefson and Mirth had to put aside all vanity in order to reveal two middle-aged characters who were physically and emotionally imperfect in so many ways.
12:52 The Mike Webster Story Performed this September at the Iron Horse Community Theatre in Ambridge. Mike Webster, who died in 2002, was the first N.F.L. player to receive a diagnosis of chronic traumatic encephalopathy, or C.T.E. This degenerative brain disease is linked to repeated hits to the head.

I taught a class with Iron Horse in late July 2018 and currently attend the Asolo conservatory in Sarasota Florida. The artistic director, London Cain, is a motivated, determined and creative leader who cares about the community. You could not ask for a better theater for a town like Ambridge. Excited to watch the future unfold for this small but mighty company! Bravo!
