Usha's Beauty Salon & Facial Spa has been the choice of many for all their Threading, Waxing, Hair and Facial needs for the past 15 years. The small operation that started from Westborough, MA is now a popular walk-in as well as by appointment salon. Usha herself is a graduate from Bombay University, India and a certified Cosmetologist from Sivani Institute (Gov of AP).
She was trained in Iran and Shahnaaz Techniques in Hyderabad, India. She successfully operated Araishka (Araishka in Persian means Beauty Salon), a full service salon in India, before migrating to the US. She worked as Manager for 5 years in the leading Beauty Salon in Houston, TX and later on promoted as Supervisor over Managers of all the locations.

You pay for what you get here. While the prices are extremely cheap, the work is not good. I got my eyebrows threaded and left with a cut right under my eyebrow. The woman was extremely rough while brushing through my eyebrows and while threading. The woman doing my eyebrows also missed many hairs and when I asked her to try and get them she gave me an attitude. The salon is also dirty.

I had an appointment for waxing services on 4rth February 2020 6 pm. With Zara beautician! She is usually fine with her job, but I don’t know this time she was not! I called the Usha beauty Salon for this! & the owner of the Salon disrespect me on the phone as well when I went there!& gave me attitude! So there is no professionalism! I am the client since 2008! 12 years of relationships I never complained! Does she should do this to me?

Talked to woman at desk I asked if I can get my eyebrows waxed. She said yes pushed me I to an open chair and all of a sudden I was getting threaded. I hate threading.
I had to go through with the rest because her first thread through took half.my eyebrow off.

I needed to get my brows done and yesterday was my first time visiting. I have never loved my brows more! The lady knew exactly what to do and she was super quick. On top of that, you cannot beat the price! Everyone was extremely friendly and nice. I will not go anywhere else now. They are cash only so make sure you go prepared!

My cousin's girlfriend and a friend of mine were raving about this place for getting their eyebrows threaded. Honestly, eyebrows are definitely a defining feature on a female face, well any face for that matter so that's a a place I don't usually mess around with and go anywhere for. Usha is normally out of my way but since I was heading that way anyways I figured I stopped by and trust my friends. I unfortunately have to give this place only 2 stars which they only earn for their affordable prices and customer service. Ive had my eyebrows threaded before, but I recently moved to the Shrewsbury area and needed to find a new place so I decided to give this place a shot based on their reviews. Everyone was super nice, but holy crap did this hurt. I wasn't sure why it was so painful as she was doing my brows since I've had my brows threaded tons of times before. Once she was done and gave me the mirror, I noticed I was bleeding from both brows in multiple tiny spots. Once I got home

I came in on the fly after discovering my regular threading place was no longer in business (so I don't go as often as I should...don't judge me!). I was a little uneasy going in but was thoroughly satisfied with the service I received and at a great price too. Zahra took care of my eyebrows like a pro and I thoroughly look forward to returning again a few weeks from now.

I've been coming to Usha's since it opened years ago, so I can't believe I hadn't written a review for the best beauty salon in the area!
I'm usually running into Usha's right after work and get there just before they start to close at 7pm. But they are always super accommodating of my hectic schedule, especially the receptionist (my favorite person ever!).
I get my eyebrows done here every time, plus they do facials, waxing and everything else in between which i love. Like other people have said on here, they're extremely fast and efficient in what they do

I've learned my lesson well - - some salons have their specialties, and this salon's specialty is their threading and waxing. Love Zara. I come here regularly and am always pleased with the service. Cannot comment on facials, hair cuts, etc, but this place, and Zara in particular, is fabulous. She does an amazing job with the threading and waxing. They're friendly, fast, decently priced (especially on the threading sale days) and I don't even need to make an appt. I usually just walk in on the way home from work.

My friend has gone here for quite a while and one day I tagged along with no intentions of getting anything done. I'm glad I did! The staff here is always super friendly and sweet and put up with the fact that I typically tear up like crazy when getting my eyebrows threaded. Usha's is also extremely inexpensive. I normally pay 10 dollars to have my eyebrows done and upper lip waxed, but I just went in the other day only to be informed that it's only 5 dollars during the holidays! Fantastic!
