We are an elite training facility located in Mt Juliet TN, but we offer so much more than gymnastics!. Our coaches are safety certified and continuously trained to coach as new techniques are introduced. My daughter absolutely loves Universal Gymnastics! It's been so much fun to watch her grow athletically and the atmosphere and coaches instruction here is phenomenal.

Services
Universal Gymnastics, established in March of 1993, is more than just a community of families: we work to be positive role models for children and become an extension of your family. This mindset is at the core of everything we do, and we are grateful to be part of your children's lives. Gymnastics allows children to dream big, while also learning strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination along the way.
The Instructor / Coach position will consist of coaching recreational and / or compulsory & optional gymnastics. Coaches must follow scheduled formats, keep accurate records of attendance, make announcements before or after class as requested by director. Candidate must be able to demonstrate proper form, technique, and body alignment specific to class format for the duration of the class.
Classes meet once per week. Gymnastics, Ninja, Tumbling, and Urban Movement classes are 1hr long, with dance classes ranging from 30-90 minutes. Universal offers one free trial class in each program for all new students so that we can evaluate your child and place them in a class that is suitable for his or her age, skill level, and interest.
Cotton or spandex shorts can be worn over the leotard (no tutu's, dresses, buttons or zippers). No baggy clothing, denim, or jewelry. Please have hair pulled back away from the face. You will take your shoes and socks off or you may wear gymnastic shoes. TUMBLING: You may wear a fitted t-shirt or tank top, pull-on shorts, and lightweight tennis shoes.
Classes begin for children as young as 18 months old. We offer our recreational gymnastics and tumbling classes year round, on a month to month basis. To get your child started, you can schedule a FREE trial class today. Once we get an idea of your child's level of experience, our knowledgeable staff will place your child in a class that is suitable for his or her age and level.

Universal is great! All of our kids have classes there. (gymnastics and Ninja Warrior), attend special events (i.e. open gym), and our youngest does after school care there as well. They love the coaches and we feel safe with them there. The office admin are friendly, knowledgeable, and quick with answers to questions. They've been invaluable to us and other families in the community!

We have loved universal gymnastics! They are always attentive to my girls, taking time to note their strengths and weaknesses. They’ve been such a blessing through the pandemic taking extra safety precautions and working with us for any make up classes. My girls love NINJA classes, as well as their gymnastics classes. Mr Randy is wonderful with all of the children in the Ninja class. Prices are great. I highly recommend this facility if you’re looking for gymnastics, ninja classes, tumbling, or preschool age classes!
