Mainstream Dance Academy is the premier dance instruction facility of Mount Laurel, NJ for kids ages 2.5 to Teen. We use an exciting curriculum that focuses on positive reinforcement to help every dancer find confidence, explore their creativity and build the proper skills required to successfully grow as a dancer year after year.

Services
Mainstream Dance Academy was started in 2015 and has made it's mark in Mt Laurel, NJ. At our studio, we believe in making connections, building friendships, instilling confidence, and most of all, falling in love with dance. We are a boutique style studio, and we don't allow more than 10-15 students per class.
Mainstream Dance Academy offers professional instruction for all dance levels, all ages, and for both boys and girls! Our season runs from the beginning of September through the end of May. As a rule, registration is cut off toward the end of December (aside from Toddler classes) to allow our teachers to start placing students in "recital spots, " as well as to allow for costume ordering.
Our season runs from September through May with our recital usually the first weekend of June. Families will have the leisure to pay tuition and costume installments prior to the due date with payment of choice. On the due date, the balance that is left on your account will be ran with the credit card on file.
For the more serious and advanced dancers, we offer students an opportunity to perform with one of our 4 Competition Teams. The Mini, Petite, Paragon, and Elite Competition teams attend 2 conventions a year and 3 regional competitions, sometimes more. A sincere commitment to dance and the competition team is expected of members, who are selected by audition and required to attend special competition classes.
Join us at MDA for an unforgettable birthday experience. We love celebrating birthdays and creating the FUN! A party at MDA features dance and/or fitness games, a dance routine choreographed just for the birthday girl/boy, as well as time for pizza, cake, or whatever you would like to serve. We provide set up, clean up, and all the fun.

Mainstream is nothing short of amazing! I’ve seen my daughters grow so much this past year and am thankful for our new dance family! Dancers are challenged to work hard while being uplifted with genuine encouragement. As a parent, it’s so great to see your child learn so much, build confidence, and have tons of fun through it all!

Miss Julie and her teachers have created an environment where children can learn and grow their love of dance from professionals with extensive backgrounds. MDA is a true family. The students, parents and teachers are so welcoming. Transferring as a teen was a tough decision but it was without a doubt the best choice for my daughter and her future. We will forever be grateful for the experiences she been afforded all because of MDA❤️

This was our first year at MDA. I can't say enough about the studio. The teachers are wonderful, professional and my daughter learned so much. The entire staff was so helpful and the studio put on a top notch recital! The studio truly gave my daughter a sense of some normalcy and fun in what was a crazy year! I am so happy to be a part of the MDA studio!

We started my young daughter in her first dance class. Ms. Julie was very accommodating as she got used to being in class. Ms. Julie navigated the social distancing and online classes during the pandemic closures very well. She provided options for families to allow everyone flexibility during the unusual time.

I cannot say enough about how WONDERFUL our experience has been with Mainstream Dance Academy. I’ve had two children take classes with the studio for four years now-one danced in the recreation classes and the other participates on the competition team program. Both have grown in leaps and bounds in confidence and ability! The instructors are skilled and have the unique talent of both challenging and nurturing the students at the same time. My daughter has been with Mainstream Dance soon to be 4 years! It's where she started her passion for dance and it always has felt like home.
