The Cherry Blossom Hair Studio in Long Beach is a boutique hair studio. With a vibrant, eclectic personality and atmosphere. Established because of the allure and devotion for hair and beauty shared by Rosa Salmeron and Janet Salmeron. The mother daughter team have been working together for over 10 years providing clients with the latest Balayage hair style trends and shiny, smooth, Brazilian Blowouts.
Janet Salmeron, owner and stylist, began her career in the hair industry over 16 years ago. She has been trained and licensed in a variety of color and cutting techniques. Prior to establishing The Cherry Blossom Hair Studio in 2006, Janet successfully refined her skills under the apprentice program from Carlton Hair International.

I'm so happy I found this little place close by. Stylist and mom are so sweet and friendly. Even though I had to take my energetic two year old with me they were super patient kind and understanding. My wash, cut and style were so pleasant and right on point I can't wait to go back. Thank you so much for your service in these tough times. Makes a mom of two self pampering so much more worth waiting for.

I was super reluctant to get a haircut from a girl because I'm use to going to barbershops that stock copious amounts of pomade (I have a friend who owns one)and have beer available and offer typical classic haircuts and though those amenities are great for a guy looking for great conversation those things don't add up tot he skill that Janet places In her craft ,she takes the time to give you a cut an amazing cut ,She has cut my hair ever since ,even for my wedding I'll always place my trust in Janet she delivers amazing cuts amazing customer service, the best service,although

This review is long overdue. I have been going to Janet at the Cherry Blossom for a couple of years now. My hair is coarse, wavy, frizzy and dry (I use a lot of heat products). Until I met Janet, I always had trouble finding someone who could work with my hair type. I always come in with a picture inspiration or something in mind and Janet does magic to my hair. I’ve always left happy with my new do.

I was lucky enough to find this little hidden treasure. Jenna and her mom Rosa are very sweet and attentive. They're knowledgeable and had recommendations for my hair that is severely damaged after being bleached at a different salon. I know it will take time to restore it to where it was before but I know I'm in good hands. I hope they liked me too because I'm planning on sticking around for a long time .

I’ve had 2 curly perms done before and wasn’t satisfied, they didn’t do it correctly so my hair didn’t hold the perm. My hair is really straight and long and I wanted a change so I wanted a perm again. I’m so happy that I found this place, the price was right and the time and care she put into my hair was worth it. I’m in love with hair. Highly recommend this hair salon

I went to the Cherry Blossom about a month ago for cut, color & highlights. This location is so cute, clean & the owner is so gifted in her craft.

A wonderful salon! Great stylist in every way: skilled at cuts, color, styles and is excellently attentive and really cares about giving the client exactly what he/she wants.
My 2 year old is quite a wiggly one and she was able to give him an awesome cut in under 10 minutes. (I can't believe I didn't take pictures of it!)
Janet was also the stylist for my wedding! She set my hair in a classically pretty updo which was easily shifted into a half-up-half-down-do for the reception.
I've recommended plenty of friends and family to this place and will keep doing so!
