Essentials Recovery offers both day and night time IOP to work into your schedule. Although we do strongly suggest the full completion of an inpatient or partial hospitalization program prior to attending IOP, we do realize that is just not realistic for every person. We continue to offer individual therapy, family therapy, psychological evaluations, medical doctor appointments, medication management, community integration support, and sober fellowship.

Essentials mission is to renew lives impacted by addiction through personalized and complete behavioral healthcare. Our main purpose is to provide services and education to the client and family that will support long lasting recovery of mind, body, and spirit. At Essentials we are aware of the complexity of addiction.
At Essentials Recovery we want all clients to feel right at home while receiving treatment. Our interior was designed specifically for that purpose. Unlike a typical treatment group room, ours was designed with comfort in mind. Located in Wilmington, DE our facility is surrounded by restaurants, shops, job opportunities, and places of worship.
Here at Essentials Recovery we realize that mostly everyone wants to get back into a normal routine and continue with life's daily commitments such as work, school, and caring for a family. Being that, we firmly believe returning to a structured, healthy lifestyle is pertinent to recovery, Essentials Recovery offers both day and night time IOP to work into your schedule.
Telehealth is defined as the delivery and facilitation of health services via telecommunications and digital technologies, whereas teletherapy is the online delivery of mental health therapy via high resolution, live video conferencing. Essentials Recovery offers teletherapy via Zoom Healthcare, a HIPAA compliant, HD video conferencing platform that allows us to have face to face therapy sessions with all of our clients.
Taking the initial step to getting help is not an easy feat, but one of the most important decisions that you can make. Essentials Recovery strives to make the admissions process as easy and seamless as possible. Our dedicated and compassionate team of admissions coordinators are available 24 hours a day to start you on your journey to recovery.

Essentials…..Kyle Richards you will never know how much you made a difference for my family You always cared even when you were not “on the clock”. Recovery is not a 9 to 5 job for you. There is no easy path and you were always there….calls at anytime….miracle pick up in Florida for my sweet boy…..always truthful about everything. I’ve personally had a wonderful experience at Essentials Recovery Delaware. The staff is active, involved and caring. I truly feel my sobriety has been their number one concern. I’ve witnessed the extent they will go to keep their clients healthy and happy. The staff team and the other clients are a wonderful support system. 64 days sober and counting and give much thanks to this team!
