Sensorimotor Psychotherapy Institute (SPI) is a professional educational organization that designs and provides the highest-level trainings and services to serve a global network of mental health practitioners*, and for the public at large. Seeking to enhance human relationships, our paradigm is substantiated by interpersonal neurobiology and impelled by mindfulness applied in interactive contexts.
Continuing education for Sensorimotor Psychotherapy Trainings and select workshops in the United States is co-sponsored by Sensorimotor Psychotherapy Institute (SPI) and either the Institute for Continuing Education (ICE) or Commonwealth Educational Seminars (CES). From our advisory board to our faculty to our alumni, this community propels Sensorimotor Psychotherapy forward as it maintains a foundation of support and connection. SPI's advisory board is made up of individuals that bring unique knowledge and skills which augment that of faculty and staff in order to more effectively guide the institute.

The advisory board plays an important public relations role as well as providing SPI faculty and staff with a fresh perspective on topics and issues surrounding somatic psychotherapy.
Certification Coaches are trained SPI staff who support students in the SP Certification Training with skill acquisition. Certification Coaches participate in a training program with supervision by SPI faculty members. Certification Coaches may be contacted by students of the SP Certification Training for extra help at a cost negotiated directly with the Certification Coach.
