I had no bad experience at the complex. The staff was polite and answered all my questions and whenever I needed something fixed, which was like only twice, it was done quickly. The only thing I was upset about was getting a two week notice to vacate my apartment 3 months AFTER the storm. That short notice really placed a huge burden on my life because of the sudden notice and I still haven’t found a place to stay because I was only given 2 weeks to move. That’s the only issue I had was the short notice because I do have 3 kids and to have to up and move that quickly was hard. But other than

So I tell them I was going to move out 15 days early as a courtesy so they can clean the apartment get it ready for the next person ETC. The proceed to cut my rent in half and I thought it was awesome then next thing you know I have a debt collector coming after me for “breaking my lease”. This apartment complex will be a headache for however long you are there if you need a place to stay fast like me cause they are always open cause it’s a disaster just save yourself the time and go somewhere better.

Update: it’s been 8 days since hurricane Ida. The mgmt has done NOTHING! They have not removed one tree or branch. Tenants have. They have not tarped any of the apartments with roof damage. So guess what when it rained 5 days later the apartment above me got more water damage so now part of my apartment is flooded. Dang sure got rent due on the website though. Pathetic!

If constant flooding, mold, broken A/C units, management change, insect infestation, promises of things getting fixed but NEVER getting fixed is your thing…then by all means get yourself a “luxury” apartment here. If it’s not, then stay far, far away.
Edited to add how extremely unprofessional and RUDE the management and office is. Reading their replies saying how they are “saddened by the misrepresentation of their team” to all of these reviews made me furious.

Son’s apartment at The Landing flooded 3 times in 2.5 months. This company can care less that your family is subject to mildew and mold due to their negligence! Have photos and videos to prove just how awful this place is. Slumlords!!!! I don’t know how they get away with it. Refused to give regional manager info . Emailed and called this management company to no avail. I’m sure I’ll get same generic response as everyone else. His apartment is inhabitable. They are breaking the law!!

I am incredibly disappointed about my current stay at Landing at Bayou Cane. I am a new resident, residing here for less than a month and I wouldn’t suggest anyone live here. When I moved into my apartment the A/C wasn’t working, it was fixed in about a week, but now it’s not working again. It took two weeks to get a dryer that they already had around. There are no screens on the windows. I was told that as long as it is “habitable” certain things wouldn’t be fixed that are considered cosmetic. On the sides of the counters, there’s glue where the counter siding is supposed to be placed

So my last review got taken down because management can’t handle to hear the truth. They steal your money, the price of rent is different every month, nothing ever gets fix, there are tenets dealing drugs throughout the whole complex and they change the pet policy when it’s convenient for them. You can’t threaten to evict one person for having unauthorized dogs when most people in the complex has pit bulls. Definitely need new management the place is horrible

Do not rent here. This place doesn’t care about any of their tenants. They take weeks to tend to issues with their apartments. They are putting tenants in that need to be kept OUT of the gated complex. They will do anything to get money out of you and couldn’t careless about COVID-19. Maintenance and everyone else comes into apartments during a pandemic without notifying tenants. They do as they please. Renting here would be a waste of your money.

This has been my home for almost 2 years now and I can say I enjoy living here, especially since the beginning of this year when the new manager Samantha got here, I had my a/c go out at 7pm one night and she personally came and fixed it for me! Definitely a place to live where the staff goes above and beyond for the residents! I love how they love my fur children too! Super pet friendly and they even have treats for the dogs in the office! Best place in Houma for a descent price hands down.
