Another two phase project in the works but this time it is a whole house remodel and a garage addition! This Bellevue home from the '60s needs some updates to make it more modern and functional for our client. Phase I is complete and the second phase is in design. We cannot wait to see this home remodel complete and give our clients the home they are dreaming about - light, airy, open concept, and modern.
When our clients bought their home in the late 2000s, everything was great! But, over 10 years later some of the spaces are starting to feel dated and not functional for their current lifestyle. We are currently in the construction phase and you can expect to see this stunning kitchen complete by late Summer 2021!
Our clients purchased this property knowing that they wanted to bring their master bathroom into the current century. The old bathroom felt dark and dated, with not enough closet space and carpet in the bathroom! Water and carpet is never a good mixture so we got to work and designed them the fully functional bathroom that they need.
This Bellevue home was already remodeled prior to our clients purchasing it but the basement was still in need of some updating. The finishes were noticeably older, with an inconvenient layout and lack of adequate lighting. We worked with out clients to nail down the perfect design that would revamp the entire floor.

Swati, Uttara and team are professionals to the core. This was our first remodeling project and they helped us throughout the process - they took our high level ideas and came up with detailed plan. They were very receptive to our feedback and made adjustments to the design as needed. They also helped us with selecting materials for the project - flooring, bathroom tiles, cabinets, lighting etc.

We worked with Archius designs for a large remodel in Redmond. They strike the perfect balance between listening to what we want and stepping in with advice when there was a better option. They were super patient as we worked through some revisions on bathroom design late in the timeline too. I would definitely contact them for any other design needs and recommend to anyone who needs an architect!

Our family needed changes to our 20 year old home in order to accommodate our evolving needs with COVID-19. We needed a space where a parent could isolate comfortably, an additional study for remote work and learning and upgrades to our master bath and bedroom. Uttara and Swati gave us a number of design options that could help realize these goals and helped us understand the tradeoffs with each option.
