I've been a member of Oak City CrossFit for 4 years, and it has made such an amazing impact on my life. I love the workouts, the coaches and, most of all, the community! OCCF is a great place for someone looking to give CrossFit a try for the first time. The vibe is very laid back, everyone gives their all during the workout and encourages each other.

At Oak City CrossFit, functional movements are utilized that make you stronger not only inside the box but also make you stronger for the challenges of everyday life OUTSIDE of the gym. Each day we keep things challenging and exciting with new workouts that are expertly programmed. The high intensity nature of our CrossFit WODs produces the optimal physical adaptations to improve your overall health, performance, and appearance.
Our CrossFit classes consist of a group warm up followed by a concentrated focus on the technical and skill aspects of that day's WOD (Workout of the Day). The WOD changes every day, and can consist of metabolic conditioning, gymnastics, and weightlifting elements - or any combination of the three!

We will then discuss your goals and the appropriate plan to get you there. The first step is to sign up, do it now!
At Oak City CrossFit, we have multiple membership options to fit your needs. You can choose from CrossFit, Personal Training, Nutrition Coaching, or any combination of the 3. Amazing programming. Got in the best shape of my life here. Coach Mike really coaches and helps each member. Easy to forget you are in a group class; though they do offer personal training.

I dropped in twice last week while visiting Raleigh for work. Mike made it really easy to schedule the drop-in. The gym is really clean, the members were very welcoming, and Mike coached me as if I was one of the gym's regulars. It was a really good experience as a visitor, and made me feel right at home. Thanks for helping me keep my CrossFit routine up while traveling OCCF!

Great gym!! I’ve been attending Oak City CrossFit for several months now. There is a great sense of community, the coaches are awesome, it’s very clean, and classes are challenging but often fun. Its not at all intimidating. There is very much a health focus and a focus on using the right technique and preventing injuries. They come up with fun things to do outside the gym and also have some great seminars on movements and how to keep your body healthy. Definitely a gem in Raleigh!

I'm not your stereotypical crossfitter. I can't lift a million pounds, I don't really even enjoy the physical act of working out, and I don't mind running. And, stereotypical or not, it's always been a challenge for me to work out consistently. The only thing that's ever been effective for that is when there's a strong community doing a great workout.

I had found these things back in San Jose (h/t Croga CrossFit!), but when we moved to Raleigh, I was not at all convinced it would be easy to find the same type of environment. Given my description above, it can

I’ve been doing CrossFit for about 10 years and probably dropped in to 40 or so Crossfit gyms. This one is one of my favorites. Super clean, very inviting and great coaching. Highly recommend to anyone in the Raleigh area!

When I moved to Raleigh in July, I dropped in at 5 different CrossFit gyms before deciding which one to join. After having done CrossFit for almost 8 years, I knew everything that I wanted in a box. Oak City CrossFit was the perfect choice for me. Had an awesome drop-in session at Oak City this morning. Coach took care of us with a rousing warmup, some mobility work, skill session, and finally a WOD that made me question my life choices in all the right ways. Great community, great facility, and outstanding coaching. Just what I needed to start my day!

Dropped in for a 6 am while visiting Raleigh for work. The group was very positive and welcoming, as was the coach. I really appreciated their hospitality and friendliness! Will definitely go back when I'm in town next year for work again. Also got to catch another great post-workout sunrise!

Oak City Crossfit is amazing! They are not your average crossfit box, they are really some of the most professional and educated coaches I have ever met. If you're looking for a place that you wont be intimidate by crazy competitive people or over crowded class this is the place. Their nutrition program is one of the best! You can get customized meal plans and a personal nutrition to help you reach your goals. I highly recommend Oak Ciry Crossfit.

I dropped in to Oak City Crossfit and was very happy with my experience. Paul, one of the owners, was very welcoming and the box was very well equipped. I really enjoyed the programming. Paul filled the entire hour with stretching/welcome, strength and metcon. I highly recommend Oak City if you are local or just dropping in for a workout when out of town.

Owner and staff are great. I was in town for a few days and dropped in with little notice and they were very accommodating. Ash and Paul took care of me when I needed to have some reps counted for a crossfit open workout. Ash was very helpful in pointing out what I needed to work on to improve. Hope to join you guys next time in town for one of your WODs!

I am an individual who used to hate to workout. I was lazy and quite sedentary. Two weeks ago I decided to try Oak City from a recommendation from a friend. I thought at first I would not be able to accomplish the workouts and was quite negative. Fast forward to today and I am hooked. There is a great group of coaches and fellow CrossFit'ers who help you and give you the drive to succeed. I feel the most positive I have ever felt in years. I cannot wait to keep at it and reach my fitness goals!
