Everyone can benefit regardless of age, level of fitness or experience. We are also home to the Balanced Body Instructor Training Program which was created in our studio over 15 years ago.

Services
Our courses are modular and progressive allowing you to start with a basic mat or reformer training and continue at a pace that works for you. We believe in teaching our students more than just exercises. In this program, you will learn the full Pilates repertoire with an emphasis on the underlying fundamental principles of each exercise.

I've been going to Turning Point for just over a year now and I absolutely love it. All of the instructors are so friendly and Shanan who's the office manager is the best. What I like best about TP is how low-key and unpretentious it is. It's not an intimidating atmosphere at all and I really love that!

Excellent studio! I've been coming here for 4-5 months now and absolutely love it! I've done mat pilates for several years, and recently got into the reformer working with Susan. It's been fantastic. Her 1:1 instruction and attention to detail (e.g., form, movement) is so helpful. I've learned a lot not only about what I can do/achieve, but more importantly what I need to do to continue improving! Thanks Susan, you're great to work with and I always look forward to our sessions. To my fellow Yelpers, I HIGHLY recommend this studio!

I have been a student of Pilates in Arizona for 5 years. When I come to Walnut Creek for the summer, I wanted to have a studio that was professional, clean and attentive.
Turning Point Pilates Studios is all of that and more. I was fortunate to be scheduled with Jami as she is certified in the Stott method of Pilates, which is what I'm primarily familiar with. She is a wonderful instructor and is SO attentive to my needs and goals.
I cannot recommend Turning Point Pilates Studio highly enough.

I have been going there for about 5 years. I started taking Pilates, but ended up with gyrokenitics/gyrotonics. I hate exercise and going to a gym, but this is different and I love it. Susan Gray is the best teacher I could hope for. Her knowledge is limitless and she has patience enough to work with people like me. She is so well trained and so creative that we rarely do the same exercise twice. If I have a problem, such as a stiff neck, she tailors the session towards that and I always leave feeling better. She is dedicated to learning more about her field and uses that knowledge in working with

If you are looking for quality training - the instructors at Turning Point are phenomenally talented and caring of their clients. If you are looking to become a Pilates instructor - Nora and Naomi are the best you can learn from.
