I booked a large rental cottage managed by Lighthouse Vacations for July 2022 for a family getaway and paid a substantial deposit two months ago. Today I received a refund with the explanation that the size of our party exceeds the allowed size of the home (we have 10 people, they list max occupancy as 14, we only have 6 adults). They didn't call to confirm the size of our party or explain the issue in any detail, they just cancelled it. No offer to rebook us elsewhere, just go away and deal with it I suppose.

This a lovely, cozy, well appointed home. We walked to the beach, enjoyed long bike rides, long talks and reading on the front porch, mediation and yoga in the back space and just had wonderful family time. All the beds were comfortable and the house was roomy enough to support myself and 7 guests. We cooked many meals in this well equipped kitchen and we were able to walk to a great restaurant on the beach when we didn't feel like cooking. Checking in and out was super easy and the hosts were very responsive!

Everyone at Lighthouse Vacations was beyond helpful! Any question I had was responded to within minutes! The place we rented was well stocked with everything we needed and more! It was super clean and updated and we felt right at home! When we return we will be renting through Lighthouse again!

Sitting on the deck under the giant tree was enough to make my day. Add in a great house and an overall great rental experience and we couldn’t ask for any better! The location was great! Just a quick walk to the beach and not that far from some great places to eat. Thanks for a great stay!

We have vacationed at SSI for 30 years and have stayed at several Lighthouse rentals. Seclusion Too is our favorite so far. They do a great job answering any questions the renter may have and all the locations have been clean and comfortable. This was the first time we had a beach front property and it was wonderful! It was close to everything! Seclusion Too was a perfect fit for the two of us and our pup. We look forward to staying here again!

Absolutely beautiful space for our women’s ministry retreat. The house was perfect for 10 adults and we had ample space to sit together around the table, in the living room, and on the back porch. The beds and sheets were so comfortable too. Bring comfy shoes and walk down to the restaurants and lighthouse.
