Services
Many of our drivers are career cab drivers, with years of experience. All drivers are employees. They are fingerprinted and they are also CORI-checked twice a year (Criminal Background Check) and their driving records are reviewed annually. All drivers are licensed annually by the Framingham Police Department.
We offer both roomy sedans and large minivans to accommodate our passengers' needs. Pickups at the locations listed above require an advance deposit (cash or credit card) to secure them. Tommy's Taxi provides delivery service throughout MetroWest. We can pick up prescriptions, documents, medical records, etc. and them get to you quickly and safely.
Whether you're going to or from Logan Airport, or another destination in Boston, Worcester, or the Metrowest area, Tommy's Taxi is the reliable, safe, and affordable way to get there. Our cab rates are based on mileage and time and are determined by a taximeter. Rates are set periodically by the Framingham City Council, and all taximeters are inspected, tested, and sealed annually by the Framingham Department of Inspectional Services.
Tommy's Taxi has regular opportunities for drivers, dispatchers, mechanics, and customer service representatives. Our drivers are employee drivers. To qualify, you must be at least 23 years of age, have a valid Massachusetts Driver License, and have a good driving record. Drivers must also undergo a Criminal Record Check (CORI) annually, as well as be licensed by the Framingham Police Department Annually.

I had to call a cab back from a doctors office at 4:05 PM. They said "45 minutes". Okay, so I waited, fair enough. At 5:20 we called them back, they said "we're backed up, but definitely we're still coming...". At 6:30 I had to give up, cause the sun was going down, I had no cell on me, the office was closed... in some pain at the time so miserable wandering

My mother used Tommy's Taxi and she was a little nervous about it, she had a little bit of a unique pick up, she lives in Grafton so she drove to them and they drove her to her appointment, she was running late to get to them and they waited for her.
She said that everyone was really nice, she met the owner some how and she said that she was very nice and helpful to her.
She said the driver was nice and the car was very clean (which is very important to her).
She said she will definitely use them again for her next trip.

I recently took Tommy's Taxi to go out locally in framingham and had a good experience - the drivers were prompt, polite and not creepy. Also, the cars/taxi vans that picked up and dropped off were both in good shape. I can say it was a relief to know that the drivers are vetted by Framingham PD.... rather than simply getting into an unmarked Uber or Lyft.

I felt physically unsafe and was threatened by my driver (dr. lic: 759). I was charged $70 to go to the airport-- a usual $40 lyft ride. He took the toll road and charged me for it. I told him I thought it was crappy that lyft doesn't charge for the toll but he does and he told me I needed to not express my opinions anymore. I asked him what would happen if I did and he said just don't. I felt threatened and cornered.. there were no other options for rides to the airport and he could retaliate and drop me off anywhere. If you care about your safety, don't choose this company.

I've used Tommy's for years. Never had issues. I needed a cab so I called for a quote. I was told $50 or so. The ride was $98.50 plus tip. When I called to question the charge the manager started yelling at me and refused to do anything.
I'm still waiting for the owner to call me back.
On top of that the cab, while clean, smelled like an ashtray.
Uber from now on

We have used Tommy's Taxi many times from our company in Framingham. They are always reliable, unlike the Uber drivers around here. Even when I call for a last-minute rush hour trip to Logan, they accept without hesitation. They are always friendly and accommodating.
Their cabs are on the older side but I have used Tommy's for our executives and no one has complained at all. I highly recommend Tommy's!

On Friday, 3/16 at 4PM I arrived to Logan Express Framingham. Of course, absolutely no cabs at the terminal. I called and they said "20 minutes"; after 25 minutes I called back and they said "10 minutes"; after 15 minutes I called back and they said "2 minutes", which they finally showed up about 45-60 minutes after the initial call.. if I had known it was going to be that long I would have walked home.

Just to follow up.....everything worked out perfect. I know that is not easy to do with international flights, processing through customs and retrieving luggage...but timing was once again perfect. Walked outside and Tommy's Taxi was there waiting for us. A very welcome sight after a few weeks away from home.

Do yourself a favor and don't call these guys. I ride the early morning train to Worcester to get to work and a deaf man asks me to call a taxi on his behalf in order to get to work. Simple request, no problem. I request for 5:25 AM from Framingham Station to Whole Foods. The operator confirmed. Again, simple and doable request.
It turns out the taxi was an hour late and made no efforts to notify me. The guy I called for was an hour late for work as a result. I asked them why and they here was the conversation.
Me: Why were you an hour late? I said "5:25" and you said "ok

I called late the night before, was told drivers start at 5 a.m & driver could be at my house by 5:10. I was concerned I needed earlier pick up to Logan.
So, day of flight, I look at Lyft, driver 4 min away. I call to cancel taxi, & am told driver is at my house-4:50. Yea!!!
I cancel Lyft and am thrilled with service of Tommy's Taxi. Thank you so much. So relieved I caught 5 a.m bus to airport.

I constantly use tommys taxi but no more. There drivers are rude and irresponsible. I had asked for a pickup a few weeks ago. The driver knew my address but yet he was waiting 2 houses down from mine and then used a lame excuse as to why he was late. I mean does tommys taxi even screen there taxi drivers??? Apparently not.

I've used them for years. Back & forth to airport etc. always fine. enjoyed chewing the fat with the drivers. so today, i needed to drop my car off at the repair place. I call Tommy's. the phone goes into a loop. press 1 to order a cab, ....press 1 to order a cab.. after the 4 trip I hang up and call back. I press 0. someone answers. I say, " I was thinking there was nobody home, no one answered. the person responded, " I just answered." hmmmm. not the answer I expected. I'm a big fan of Uber, but one of the taxi companies i do like is Tommy's Taxi. They are pretty solid. I worked in the area for a year, and had no car, so had to use Tommy's for many late night rides to the train station. I never had one problem with them. They were certainly way better than Natick Cab. I give them 4 stars because they perform the basics well: 1. they answer the phone when you call 2. they're honest about how long it will take a cab to show up 3. the drivers are pretty solid. The only reason i give them 4 stars and not 5 is i did have one driver one night

Tommy's is constantly late, even when I call them far ahead of time to book a cab when I KNOW I have to be somewhere at a certain time. And then, when I call to wonder where my 15-minute-late cab is, the person on the other end (no matter who it is) is rude and snippy.
