We relocated to Atlanta in 2008 with a dream and $100 in our account. After 4 years we opened a business called Portrait on a Plate Catering, which is one of the top catering companies in Atlanta, and then in 2018 opened ATL Fusion BBQ.

This used to be a favorite place pre pandemic. I get times are rough but the portion size has become sad, I could count the number of nachos(14). The quality of meat has gone down, it's definitely not as tender as it used to be. The mac and cheese was mushy, overcooked, really heavy on black pepper to the point where you can't really taste the cheese. Maybe when pandemic calms down I'll give it another go but for now I plan to stop ordering from here. I hope they can pull something together because this is one of the more unique places to eat in the area.

The Mac and cheese was horrible didn’t taste like nothing the texture was like grits very blend potato salad bad!!! Rib tips was tough I spent $50 first and last time going there contact me I will give y’all a Mac and cheese recipe cause this ain’t it these bbq places here in Atlanta need to understand it’s all about the SIDES bad sides will ruin a whole meal

I'm conflicted on how to rate this place. I feel like it should be between 4 - 5 on some things - but between 2 - 3 on others.
Interior / Exterior - I didn't venture inside, so I can't comment on the interior. The exterior was a bit haphazard, but not their fault. The customers seem to park where they want - I wound up getting in the drive-thru line since there was nowhere for me to park because 4 cars had somehow managed to take up the entire parking lot. I didn't mind because the wait time was minimal and I got a chance to observe the staff in action. N/A for Interior /

I was a patron of this restaurant when they first opened years ago. This visit was my first time back since the grand opening. What a disappointment . The price and Salmon portion size was in no way equal. And if that was wasn't bad enough, the quality and taste of the Salmon was far below the standard they had when they first opened at this location. Needless to say, I will not be patronizing this establishment anytime in the near future. Hopefully, they will figure out their shortfalls and make the necessary improvements before they lose additional customers.

I’ve been wanting BBQ for some time and this was worth the wait! 1st time trying it but the ribs were tender and everything (Mac & cheese, yams and cornbread tasted great). The strawberry lemonade was pretty good too. My only complaint is for utensils I got 1 plastic spork and 2 napkins. Will definitely return here and bring my own utensils for to go orders.

The food here is excellent but there prices change every week because my company that I work for eat here one to two times a week for there lunch specials and there online price on the lunch special is 5$ plus tax but when you go in the location it is actually 6$ Plus tax on the menus. Totally worth the wait. The ribs are the best I’ve ever tasted rich and smoky flavor. The chicken is really good the sides are good. My mother ate up the yams faster than you can blink! My son enjoyed it and even my 7 month old had some mashed up rib meat and loved it. I will be back! Prices were reasonable and I’ve tried several bbq restaurants since coming to Atlanta and they’re a very good spot!

What a catchy name that doesn’t match up to its name. The mac n cheese had a liquidity consistency and the pasta was over cooked. The corn on the cob was boiled corn, not a full ear (as pictured), and nothing smoked or grilled about the it. The menu stated that the entree combo included turkey ribs but when ordered the waitress came back to tell me that it was not an option any longer. The deserts are mini while satisfying. Now on to the meat— the wings are smoked good. I’d prefer not to see the little hairs on the wing tip though😒. The salmon ribs are just shaped as a rib. No biggie.

Man i have been going to this restaurant since they opened and it has changed since then. The portions used to great now i feel like a kid getting a school lunch.. I loved them so much cause i felt like i was getting a lot of bang for my bucks i mean the flavor of the food is still great but I'm extremely disappointed at the portion size i just received in my most recent visit...

My husband and I ordered a family meal plus ribs, corn, and cornbread for the two of us and our two toddlers. First off, the total was $8-$10 more than the menu online would have suggested. Um...ok I know a lot of shops are slow to update the online menu but that's a pretty big jump. Supporting a local business so...fine. He said the food would be ready in 10-15.
My husband loaded up the 1yo and headed out...where he had to wait for AT LEAST an extra 30 minutes. I paid for the order at 6:26 and he got

The first few months we were in love & very regular with ATL fusion! Actual Soul food of good quality. The past couple of months have been challenging for them as their popularity grew a few times the food kind of fell as far as quality. We love the wonton nachos the last 2 times they weren't won tons but maybe fried tortilla chips which makes a huge difference in the flavor, the meat that was atop the nachos was burnt & skimpy compared to the previous orders the sauce was interesting too. I got rib tips for the first time & I won't get them again, just not what I expected

You get nothing but the best of bad attitudes, teeth smacking and stank customer service. One day the salmon meal is $9.00 and the next day it's $13.00 and they have an 80 as their health department score so eat at your own risk!
But the salmon is good (sometimes cold and you may get sick) but most of the time it's pretty good. Sad to say, they represent the typical "stereotype" for these kind of "businesses".

I've been following ATL Fusion BBQ on Instagram for a while now and finally had the opportunity to come last night. They have a drive-thru and it was wrapped around the corner- which isn't saying a lot because the building is relatively small. We waited probably a maximum of 10 minutes before a young lady by the name of Ellen came to take our order. She was a huge help! Since it was our first time, we had a lot of questions and wanted to know what was the best way to try everything that we wanted. She was new and had no issue with going back and forth to ask questions to her more tenured

Finally tried a good bbq place. My coworker invited me and it was well worth it. They have a drive thru and really competitive pricing. My rib tip meal was only $11. The Mac and cheese is good and the potato salad is great!! Overall I didn't care for the sauce on top of the rib tips but I ordered sweet chili and mango habanero on the side and they are I'm going to come back to try the salmon ribs!

Went to Atlanta Fusion for the 1st time today. We were greeted with a smile and told to look over the menu and to let her know if I had any question. We decided to get the pulled pork combo which is 8.00. It comes with two side. My daughter got the smoked mac and cheese and mango baked beans and I got mac n cheese and corn on the cobb. The sandwich was huge the bread was fresh and there was a ton of meat. It comes with sauce on the bbq, but forgot to ask what it was. The smoked mac and cheese......OMG best I have ever had so delicious. The mango baked beans my daughter said they were amazing and

I have passed this place so many times and never tried it. Since buying a house in the neighborhood I decided I wanted to give back to the community that I live in .
Looked this place up and saw that they had a smoker in the back and decided I had to try. They have a lunch special that is 5.00 and man do you get a lot of food . I added a extra side for 2.00 because I really wanted to try the smoked Mac & Cheese.
I went through the drive through and the service was fast and the food was so good . I ate this during my lunch break and immediately needed a nap. The food is delicious and hearty

This spot is a great hidden gem outside of the perimeter. After seeing so many delicious photos of their food in their instagram I had to check them out.
I visited over the summer so I did not get to see their new renovation but they had a great drive thru pick up process which made it simple and easy to get a burger.
I got the ultimate burger which was only $9!! It was topped with an onion ring, pulled pork and cole slaw. It was so delicious and full of flavor, I was very happy with my meal.
I can't wait to come back to try their ribs!!

The guy who took my order was very nice and professional. The food was horrible. We got rib tips, ribs, Mac and cheese, green beans, and baked beans.
The meats - were not good. Taste like run down cafeteria mystery meat overloaded with sauce to hide the fact that it was mystery meat.
Green beans- horrible, taste like they were old and spiced up to cover the fact they were from 3 days ago. Taste like spoiled garlic green beans. Did not see any meat in them either.
Baked beans - didn't try my taste buds couldn't handle anymore.

Baked beans: Had a hint of what tasted like "orange juice".. different (it is called ATL BBQ Fusion right? But still good
Coleslaw: I prefer mine more cured.. but the fast was great and the addition of pineapple was a nice touch

Let me be clear - the food here is BANGING!!!! I've had sooo many things on the menu, MULTIPLE times, and consistently the flavor and taste is 10/10. The only reason I couldn't give it 5 stars is because there have been too many times I would call in my order, and get there and have to wait as if I just placed the order. That is frustrated, especially if you are in a time crunch and took the time to order ahead. Outside of that, the service is usually pretty good, the head Chef/owner is AMAZING both with service and product.

This is the best local mom/pop shop in the area. There is nothing fancy about this place. It's just old school BBQ. I smelled the smoke from the street and decided to swing on in. They had a "makeshift" drive-through where someone came out to your car. Hey- It worked.
I ordered rib tips. Got my food in minutes and was on my way. It was excellent. Will return soon.

Tbh, food just wasn't good. I felt like I wasted $30 (for my personal order, my friends were w/ me as well).

I've ordered from ATL Fusion BBQ several times. It is always my go to for good BBQ. I have always been impressed and satisfied with everything I've ordered. They have great quality food with bursting flavor in every dish. Even their lemonade taste like it was hand picked from a tree in Sorrento, Italy - refreshing and sweet!
