Bridge Center For Play Therapy
Experiencing unwanted behaviors, that are disrupting the connection between you and your child?. Our goal is not to keep your child in therapy forever. Rather, we use play therapy, to provide you with the skills and tools to support your child for the rest of their life. Our gift is seeing you and your child clearly, getting to the root of all behaviors, in effort to bring relief, acceptance and healing.
Services
We are not a "clinical" child therapy practice, rather we provide an integrative and holistic play therapy approach to treat common diagnosis's in children such as, ADD, ADHD, Autism, Depression, Bipolar, Eating Disorders. In addition, we use this same play therapy approach with children who do not have a diagnosis and may be having behavioral and relational challenges.
Here at the Bridge Center it is very important to us that you work with someone who is able to meet your needs and expectations. Our therapists all have a variety of experience and expertise, in addition to extensive training with children, parents and families. We invite you to get to know all our therapists and make a suggestion who you may feel is the best fit to work with you, your child, or family.
Play allows children to explore their whole being. Play minimizes children's stress levels, enhances their connections to others and boosts confidence in all areas of life. Our therapists help your child see their challenges very quickly; process these issues through play and decrease symptoms and behaviors that are getting in the way of their joy.
Embark on the journey that brings healing and joy to the whole home. Intensives allow your whole family to experience the benefits of play therapy. We provide 4 days of direct contact work, in the comfort of your own home. Intensive work has been found to reduce symptoms almost immediately, generate an increase in parenting confidence, provide real time strategy and solution with your families greatest challenges.

Falsely claim they are accepting new clients and yet no therapist is available to take children, make you wait to do a 30 minute phone interview which is your consultation and then dismiss you if you don't have good paying insurance or give you the option of being put on a waitlist when your child needs immediate services. Poor communication between staff and descriminating clients through said consultation!

The Bridge Center for Play therapy is a phenomenal place of healing. The work I did there was deeply transformational and has allowed me to move forward in my personal life and career in ways that I could barely imagine previously. I cannot recommend their services more highly.

Parents in Boulder are so fortunate to have The Bridge Center for Play Therapy for their children! It is such a welcoming, safe environment, designed for the comfort of the children in their care, and I know they are not only in a comfortable physical environment, but are also in such caring, qualified, and knowledgeable hands. Incorporating play into therapy is brilliant! The Bridge Center offers such innovative care. I also personally know Alicia and Bridget to be compassionate and professional.
