It's your life. Will you choose to enjoy it, or will you stay on "automatic pilot" and suffer in silence? Don't put off resolving your personal or work problems any longer. Counseling can help! Although problems tend to be universal, your story is unique! And Karen Brown is skilled at using counseling techniques that are the most appropriate for each client.
Is your partner driving you crazy? Does he/she feel the same way about you? What happened to that couple you once were? You remember - the two people who used to have fun together, shared dreams, respected each other, and made love more often. You will never be the couple you were when your love was new because each of you has changed and grown individually over time.
Research shows that talk therapy leads to increased happiness, produces effective coping skills, and promotes fulfilling relationships-especially for women. Compared to men, women are twice as likely to suffer from depression and three times as likely to become depressed after a stressful event. Women deal with a variety of unique factors that make them more susceptible to anxiety and stress than men.
Are you one of those people who spends his or her energy on not losing rather than on winning? A fulfilling successful life doesn't happen by accident! Personal coaching might just be what you need to get off dead center. It's difficult to experience joy if you don't have balance in your life. If two or more of these describe how you are feeling right now, there is a very good chance you are out of balance.
Karen is the founder and owner of Dallas Counseling and Wellness Center. Karen Brown delivers the highest caliber counseling experience. I worked with Karen for almost 7 years and she trained me to have the highest level of ethics and always put concern for the client first. Additionally, I was occasionally on the receiving end of her counseling words of wisdom, and she changed my life for the better. Rest assured, you are in the right hands with Karen.

I have used DCWC in the last 10 years twice, once in 2009, and recently in late 2018 as a result of my marriage ending. Karen Brown was instrumental on getting me back to the emotional strength I needed to move forward. I highly respect her professionalism, knowledge and resources she shares that encourages growth and development of oneself. Her influence on my healing impacted a couple of close friends to also seek her services.

Recommended to me by a friend, Karen Brown really understands how to help clients work through grief, loss, marriage issues, and family/employer dynamics. She is motivational and prescriptive in the right way, letting her clients do the work they need to, but offering options to get "unstuck". Her guidance and wisdom moves you forward to see new paths and to understand how to deal with others who may not be on the same path as you. She not only approaches her clients with research-backed methods and knowledge, but she also brings a warmth and authenticity to her practice.

I really can’t say enough good things about Karen Brown, and I highly recommend her as a therapist for couples or individuals. She has been instrumental in helping my husband and I learn to communicate better and work through tough issues regarding work/life balance, parenting, family issues, etc. She is particularly great at leading the conversation and providing meaningful examples and tools to help couples get on the same page. Even when things between my husband and I were going well, her sessions provided a way for us to just “check-in” with each other and set aside time to focus on

There truly aren’t enough words to describe Karen Brown. Caring, trustworthy, kind, great listener, encouraging, warm, compassionate-I could literally go on and on about her. It’s very evident that she loves helping people work out their problems they may be facing; she’s blunt and to the point in a very delicate way. I would compare my time with her to sitting down with a life-long friend that’s just there to listen without any judgement, there’s nothing more cathartic. My husband and I went through multiple counselors over kid issues we couldn’t quite figure out on our own until we

Lynn is an amazing therapist. I have been seeing her since Dec 2017-Feb 2018. She was able to help me find my inner strength and encourage me to build my self-esteem. During those my months, I was extremely lost and I felt so broken. I was speaking incoherently, but Lynn was very patient and non-judgemental. She was able to guide me to find my inner voice and speak up for myself. She works with you as an individual either with talking, worksheets, dancing, meditation, or writing. I had worked with several other therapists after my insurance changed, but I would still rather work with Lynn.

The process of submitting a new request on line was fast and easy. They called back within 24 hours. I was excited to speak with Lynn Meyer and proceed through the process. In our conversation, Lynn asked for my billing and insurance information and told me that her office person would be calling to verify benefits and calling me back with the details. At this point Lynn also stated their was a $25 charge to hold the appointment and needed my credit card information. This fee would be subtracted from the amount I owed once my benefits were verified. A red flag, but I understand more health care
