Working with Tamar the last 6 months has been a great experience. I have learned so much about my health, food and how to better care for myself. I am still facing a lot to work through but I feel I have some great tools and information to move forward in this and Tamar was always there to help out and support while we were working together. We made a lot of progress and got my gut health in a much better place. Lost 22 lbs as well! Thank you Tamar!

Tamar is great to work with. I learned a lot about healthy eating, vitamins, and cooking. One of my favorite experiences was going to Berkeley bowl. Such a great place! I also looked forward to our weekly check-in‘s. She help me figure out what I need to do to lose weight.

I am very appreciative of all the knowledge Tamar has shared with me on nutrition and food. I learned a lot from participating in her program. I realize now that good nutrition should be our consideration. Before joining her program I couldn't tell the difference between wheat and rice (I'm serious). With the knowledge Tamar has shared with me, I have been making intuitive decisions on what foods I should consider for my diet and how those foods can affect me physically and mentally, which I think is a very powerful thing. I wanted to work with a nutritionist for several reasons: breaking through my weight loss plateau, make better decisions on what I ate and when, and general education on what the heck macro and micro nutrients are and in what balance I should be targeting for each meal (amongst many other things). After a telephone screening of 4 different nutritionists in the East Bay, Tamar and I clicked right off the bat. Tamar is simply amazing. Not only is she kindhearted and an active listener, she is an expert in her craft. Tamar empowers her clients with the information they need in order to make conscious decisions and take control over their health.
One of my favorite parts of working with Tamar (of which there were many) was our trip to Berkeley Bowl. Tamar spent 3 hours with me walking up and down the isles, looking at different foods & their nutrition labels. I started working with Tamar when I was 20wks pregnant. I ended up feeling great through all my pregnancy with no crazy cravings, I gained a healthy weight, had no swelling at all and ended up delivering a healthy 8pnds baby without mentioning that I'm almost back to my pre baby weight and have a great milk supply.
I recommend Tamar to anyone that is trying or is currently pregnant. Nutrition is key for these phases in life.

Tamar is an incredible wealth of knowledge when it comes to nutrition. I was looking for someone who could guide me through my ultra distance running along with being a vegan and heading into perimenopause. The guidance she shared was eye-opening and extremely valuable. I love her approach as she is firm but loving and caring and has a solution that is workable for each individual. She went at my pace and was extremely patient. I highly, highly recommend working with Tamar.
