Every Concussion is different but they are all serious and should be treated as soon as possible. The best way to improve concussion symptoms like brain fogginess, confusion, lack of coordination, memory loss, and nausea is to address the physiological damage caused by the concussion. Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) is a treatment for a number of often serious conditions that involves breathing 100% oxygen in a pressurized chamber. The pressurization allows for greater oxygen absorption in the body and hyperoxygenates the blood plasma in ways other treatments cannot.

I was extremely nervous about getting into the chamber. It looked so small and uncomfortable, but to my surprise it was the total opposite. The chamber was very roomy, cozy, and super clean. The staff were truly knowledgeable about the treatments and friendly. They explain step-by-step how the treatment works before you enter the chamber. A member of the staff will check-on the client periodically.
This place is awesome, and I highly recommend it. :)

The treatment you receive here is amazing. This is the best health spa in the entire bay area. You are treated like royalty. After your session, you have a very comfortable space to sit and relax, a massage or zero gravity chair, a bottle of infused water for the vitamin C & E you’re given, hot towels. State-of-the-art treatment and facility with all the safety and precautions for the client. I had a positive experience at Holistic Hyperbarics.

Alex and the team (Sam, Jordan, Shelby, Cecilia and all of them) made sure we had a positive experience. I went in for my son's condition and we saw an improvement after 10 sessions. We went on to get 40 sessions in all, and our son is doing much better now. Totally recommend for supported medical conditions or just recovery and relaxation.

Holistic Hyperbarics is Awesome!
Ive wanted to try Hyperbaric treatment for many years for the overall health and immunity benefit. However there wasnt a place locally at that time or within a price range that I could maintain on a consistent basis without insurance. Fortunately, I came acrossed Holistic Hyperbarics while surfing YouTube.
Ive been dealing with Tinnitus for about a year now and want to improve my overall health so hyperbaric was right up my alley. Needless to say I look forward to my weekly treatments at Holistic Hyperbarics followed by my treat to Arizmendi a few minutes away

I began treatment several months after having a surgery to repair a hip injury I sustained as a Registered Nurse. The injury has been life altering and really hard to recover from. I've only had about 4 sessions but I immediately noticed a difference for the better after the first one. Keep in mind my surgery was in late March 2021 and I did not receive my first treatment until late August 2021.

The staff at HH is so caring and takes your health seriously. I came to Alex last year after dealing with post concussion syndrome for a few months. We were able to figure out a treatment plan and within 15 hyperbaric sessions, my symptoms were almost entirely gone. I recently had a bad rock climbing fall, giving myself whiplash and a head injury. I had a lot of pain throughout my body. I started oxygen treatment the following day, completing 10 dives over the next 2 weeks and I’ve had an incredibly quick recovery. I did my first dive last week to begin treatment for joint pain and inflammation, and it was a great experience. The staff was kind and professional, explained the procedures (with which I’d already become familiar through the online intake questionnaires prior to my appt), took my vitals and let me rest comfortably until my chamber was ready. The chamber was very clean and comfortable — I actually fell asleep twice during my session! I have long-haul COVID. Wow! What an experience! I was a little (not a lot, but for sure a little) worried if I'd be comfortable in a hyperbaric chamber - I tend to get in my head a lot unnecessarily. I was so comfortable, y'all! From the time I walked in (and I was having a moment re: work stressors) the gentleman that greeted me was super kind & courteous, taking my temp at the gate (bc we're still in a pandemic) and walking me in to the space. The HH suite (bc it's definitely not just a studio or room) was a whole rustic, plant kween mood(!!!), filled with ultra lush greenery & a whole spa

What an incredible experience. Our situation is personal, so I won't share our reason for coming in... but ...what I will share is the knowledgeable and professional staff is a perfect start to the incredible visits. Also inviting is the beautiful aesthetics of the space and the details all the way down to the delicious fruit infused water in perfect glass bottles. I am SO grateful to have found Holistic Hyperbarics. I had a bad fall that resulted in a gnarly concussion, 8 hrs of amnesia and a fractured shoulder. No matter what I did, the brain fog from the concussion wouldn't seem to go away. Then I found holistic hyperbarics! Not only are their prices waaaaay better than anywhere else, the staff was so welcoming and kind, the atmosphere warm, and after just 5 sessions my brain fog totally cleared- I am forever grateful. Highly highly recommend this amazing place!

Overall I was impressed with the whole experience at Holistic Hyperbarics. The staff was knowledgeable and attentive, the chambers themselves were roomy and very comfortable (even for someone like me who is 6'1"), and the atmosphere was very calming and relaxing. For anyone who feels like hyperbaric oxygen treatment is scary or intimidating, this is place to do try it for your first time. You can rest assured that you'll be taken care of from start to finish in a compassionate and restorative manner.

This place is a gem. Such a more personable and real experience than other hyperbarics locations. This place is LUSH; plants everywhere. It has a cozy spa feel but so obviously has high clinical standards.
Alex, the owner, is amazing and really listens to your personal issues. My partner's foot was deteriorating from complications of an autoimmune condition but after starting hyperbarics their foot bounced back! Great bloodflow and bones finally healing up.
I can't suggest this place more.

I absolutely feel so grateful that this is in Oakland. Alex and her team are consummate professionals. They are all medically trained and treated me with the upmost respect and kindness. I had a sudden change in my hearing and the high oxygen hyperbaric chamber is the industry standard treatment. Alex immediately got me in and was able to schedule me DAILY with no problem. The space is beautiful and peaceful. The chambers themselves are roomy and very cozy with additional Covid safe blankets and pillows.

I had heard multiple good things about hyperbaric oxygen treatment from just being a nerd on the internet.
