Vezalay is a Beautiful Mountain Venue located in Dahlonega GA. Events can be held outside, or inside depending on the desired location and weather. Whereas our venue holds up to 200, we recommend people cap the attendee number to around 180. This just provides some extra space for all your vendors and guests. To check availability, simply scroll through our online calendar and look for dates which are not indicated as "Booked."

Services
Our event center is designed for maximum flexibility, natural daylight and beautiful views. The architecture is a combination of industrial and rustic with exposed trusses, HVAC ductwork and tongue and groove ceiling. The rated occupancy is 200 people, but we recommend no more than 180 for the most comfortable fit.
Are tables and chairs included? YES. I have 15 Round tables (6ft diameter), 8 6ft Banquet tables, 6 highboy tables & 400 total chairs. How many people will the Event Center, and Pavilion facilities hold? The Event Center can hold up to 200 people if using cathedral style seating, However, we recommend no more than 180 total.

Where do I even start to explain how wonderful and beautiful Vezalay is… Sharon McMillan and Doug are fantastic and will make sure your special day is as PERFECT as you expect. Both worked their hardest and put… so much time in to make our day exactly what we dreamed of. Sharon made sure the bridal party had food and drinks for a fun time getting ready. She had everything planned out to perfection and all went as planned and even better than planned. She was always a phone call away from any questions or concerns I had. Same with Doug. Our wedding day was beautiful, I worked my tail off to make sure it all went exactly how I wanted. We had a few issues however, including the floors being very sticky and dirty, they stained mine and several of my bridesmaids dresses. Seriously, our feet were black on the bottoms after being in the cottage and the reception space. The owner has… don’t nothing to help, called me a liar and been completely condescending and unwilling to make this right. I would not recommend anyone to work with him and despite the venue being insanely beautiful, it is not worth the headache until it

Beautiful venue but I wouldn’t recommend. I paid my deposit for this venue after touring and I was so excited! There were a few issues before I paid that made me a little nervous but I loved the venue so i booked anyway. Ended up seeing on their website that they had double booked my day and that my contract was also incorrect. Tried to call and… get in touch a few days in a row with no answer. The owner Doug contacted me to resolve the issue and told me the day wasn’t in fact double booked but it was an error on their end. Through out that call Doug was patronizing and condescending

The venue and staff were outstanding. What a gorgeous place set in the mountains. Our daughter got married in the chapel and the setting was amazing looking out on the mountains with the windows and cross in the center. The reception was at the event center which was amazing! Outdoors and inside were spectacular. Sharon and Doug were so kind… and amazing to work with. The bride and attendants spent the day at the cottage getting ready having lunch and then the bride and groom returned there for their wedding night. I can't say enough about the facilities, the staff and just the amazing venue
