Horrible experience there. I had chest pain, 12 lead EKG done, I saw abnomalities( I am experienced ICU RN) they did NOTHING, a group of female nursing professionals stood outside my door ridiculed me for a half hour, mocking my skin(vitiligo), my diseases, RSD, Behcet's, I complained to charge nurse she said she spoke to them..I continued to complain of chest pain they injected me with powerful pyschiatric drugs and locked the door..nothing ever done about chest pain. Kept there for 2 days...then shipped off to Peninsula Pysch hospital, almost died there last week, then shipped to Park West Medical

My sister is here for surgery and other medical issues. I wanted to give some praise to her RN today Terri M. He talked to us with respect and was very friendly. He made my sister feel a little more at ease reassuring her and answering her questions during a difficult and scary time. Bed side manner and humanity does make a huge difference. Thank you for being a wonderful nurse.

If i could give it no stars i would. Worst experience i ever had at a hospital. Went in because im pregnant and was having stomach pains and having trouble passing urine. Waited for 8 hours and never got in a room ended up having to leave after it got to 9pm. On top of it all it was very unsanitary there was used puke bags laying through out the waiting room. The staff was also not the friendliest very stuck up and rude i witnessed them treating multiple patients wrong. Honestly id go to any other hospital other than this one

While on vacation, my 2 year old took very sick. He started running fever, coughing horribly, retracting, grunting/wheezing, and was overall just struggling to breathe. He progressively got worse and we searched for the nearest hospital/E.R. We travelled to LeConte Medical Center around midnight, not knowing what to expect.
Their E.R. was clean, the facility was efficient, and we did not have to wait long at all. Being a nurse myself, I was very cautious and hesitant to take him to an emergency room that was not specifically a Pediatric facility, but they were wonderful.

My son came in with a gash from a knife wound on his hand, which he needed stitches. He was bleeding profusively and in pain, not one nurse gave him anything for the pain, which he asked for some Ibuprofen and still nothing. Waited for over 2 hrs in the waiting room with COVID positive people, which is not done where we are from. Our hospital takes cases like my son's in and out, less exposure to the virus. This center is big enough and I didn't see a staff shortage in the ER, we just witnessed disorganization. Sad for a hospital this big.

They were very good to my dad . With comfort care. Dad was dieing they wouldn't let him eat. I still don't understand that. If he dieing and wants to eat or drink . Let him ! They said he would choke ,well if he dieing what does it matter . But before that the nurses didn't care about him one bit. Also until he died they never said he had covid. I had wash dad brushed his hair ,cleaned his mouth. Without gloves or mask . Never once said he had covid. But when he passed they said he had covid. But they did ease him on. He died peacefully. He was 89. But everyone right the people who work here don

This is an absolute joke of a hospital. The staff could care less about the people who visit the emergency department. I was returning after being diagnosed with pneumonia and the flu 5 days before. When I arrived there were 4 people already there. I sat for 5 hours. They began calling people back who arrived 2 hours after me. One person had back pain. Clearly he was a drug seeker. And yet he was called before me.

Brought my son to ER following a fall. I am actually still here with him. This team of doctors, PA, nurses, radiology, as well as ancillary staff have been hands down amazing. I am an RN so I know what busy ER's are like. These are some knowledgeable and compassionate people working here. Thank you for your kindness.

My son, who is never sick, had been running a high fever and diarrhea all day. We were on vacation and went to the ER here. Let me tell you they do not even deserve the one star. Terrible experience! Do not go there. My son was taken back to the room and laid there for 40 mins with no doctor or even a nurse checking on him. I went out to ask about some medicine for his headache and the snappy little nurse said, “No provider has signed up for him yet.” I asked if they did not have times to meet to stay within limits. The response was no we don’t. (My hospitals has standards that they try to
