Jessica has been in hair her whole life, having grown up in a Chicago apartment above the original Haircutecture owned by her parents. She has been a hairstylist for 9 years now and is proud to be carrying on the family business name in Kansas City. She specializes in both men and womens haircutting and coloring as well as Keratin smoothing services, hot towel face shaves and kids cuts.

I've been getting my "hairs did" by Jessica for several years now. I've been following her around and was super stoked when she opened her own shop a few years ago. She does a great job with my short women's haircut.
I love coming in here because there's good music, good conversation, and she even gives you a beverage with your haircut! She usually has a couple of brews on tap too. Most importantly, she does a great job on my hair.

Jessica is amazing! I’ve been seeing Jessica for years and each time she nails it. When I ask for a simple trim or if I want to change it up (I usually do every other year) she has always made my hair look great. Jessica always remembers the little details in my life and has a genuine interest in knowing her clients. Another thing I love about going here is that it doesn’t take FOREVER to get a haircut. Even living in Denver I refuse to have anyone else cut my hair. She is the best!

Jessica is absolutely amazing! She has been my stylist for the past three years. Most of the times I am not sure what I want. She listens patiently, works her magic and every time I leave very happy with her work. She respects that I am a very quiet person and does not indulge in unnecessary small talk. She is FANTASTIC!

I get my haircut from Stephanie Gaume. and she is the best hairdresser I have had. Very professional, listens to what I want (even when I change my mind often, haha) and does a fantastic job. Very consistent and I have never had any issues. This company is awesome and I highly recommend getting a haircut from Stephanie!

I travel alot and frequently have to search for trustworthy salons. Jessica, the owner, was recommended by a friend, and she gave me a GREAT cut, and listened to what I wanted. It was easy, with no debates. Once I was able to restyle my hair (which is curly btw) and see how the cut came out, I was so happy! Curls bouncing and lifted! Thanks Jessica!

Jessica Balick is a hair magician. I always come in feeling frumpy and overgrown, and I come out feeling beautiful and stylish. I don't get my hair cut often enough, but when I do I will only go to her. Her prices are reasonable, and her personality is great! I always feel like I'm catching up with an old friend when I see her because of her laid back and friendly demeanor.
Most importantly, she LISTENS! Whatever I tell her I want, she does, and she does it well.

I just moved to Westport, KC from Los Angeles and needed a haircut badly. I found this salon because of it's great location, but had such a great experience I will definitely be back. Jessica cut my hair just how I wanted. It doesn't look like I just got my hair chopped and that is exactly the way I wanted it to be. It is subtle and clean-cut. Jessica spent the time telling me about her favorite spots in KC and giving me great recommendations on bars and restaurants.

Haircutecture is awesome! Jessica B. has been my go-to for hair cuts/style for several years, and she is rocking it as a new salon owner... as well as continues to be an amazing stylist. I have always had a superior experience.

Stephanie has been making my hair feel fancy for about 4 years. I often go to see Stephanie with no clue with what I want to do with my hair and she always helps me find a style that's awesome. She is creative, open to suggestions and an awesome person. I always leave with a great haircut and can't honestly imagine going to someone else. Haircutecture is an awesome salon and I would recommend it to anyone.

Jessica B. is an amazing stylist. I've been going to her for almost 4 years now, and always leave smiling and super happy with my cut. She is very friendly, makes you feel at home, and does an amazing job. The complementary neck shave & shampoo are also a must!

This place is amazing! I have been a long time client of Chelsea and she is a terrific stylist. She cuts, styles, and colors hair for men and women and stays current on trends. I need a lot of advice when it comes to styling my hair/beard and she has always been able to give me great advice on products as well. She is, and always will be, my favorite part about going to Haircutecture. The beer comes in a close second.

Skylah is awesome!
She cuts and colors my hair perfectly, cuts my husbands hair and has done my kids hair as well. She makes for great conversation and is very nice! Anytime I have questions about my hair or about products, she knows the answer!
