Breathe in the aromatic ripeness of black cherry, cassis and boysenberry. This full-bodied wine integrates an ample amount of ripe black fruit with vanilla, cinnamon spice, sweet tobacco and savory notes of leather with hints of cedar. The 2018 Cabernet Reserve is rich and complex wine supported by velvety soft smooth tannins, making this wine easy to drink upon release but will offer even more rewards after a few years in your cellar.

The 56 acre Big Oak Ranch perched on the east foothills of Morgan Hill is home to our developing vineyards. This ancient landslide estate is perfect for both red and white varietals due to its microclimate, rich soil, and high elevation. It is a perfect and picturesque setting for high quality grapes within the Central Coast AVA near the Silicon Valley.
There's no such thing as a 'winemaker.' Wine makes itself. The key is to monitor the process every step of the way so that you make the best decisions to allow it to do its own transformation. Christian graduated with an oenology degree from the University in Dijon. He spent his youth in Beaune in the heart of Burgundy, and was exposed to the world of wine at a young age.
The Mila Grenache is an interesting red blend of two distinct Grenache noir grapes-West Paso Robles and Edna Valley. Spiced with a touch of cold and warm climate Syrah. The cuvee is named after one of Sofia's beautiful daughters. The 2018 was a slow and cool ripening vintage. Grenache generally offers a medium color red with a concentrated nose of black and red cherry fruit jam, black pepper and minty spice.
This French style sparkling is fresh and crisp with some citrus notes as well as lots of creamy texture. Very elegant nose with hints of apple and warm bread with a lush and velvety mouth feel which exhibits minerality and vanilla. A beautiful blush color - this refined wine slowly reveals itself with velvety texture and mouth-filling flavors.

What a nice place. Amazing inside if you want to sit in and sample some wines. It's a nice and sunny day you can sit outside on a comfortable chair. The staff were really friendly and helpful. After the tasting we had a glass of Pinot noir rosé which was awesome.
The tasting room is just of 101 going to San Jose very convenient to get on and off on a semi industrial area but with a nice garden area (see the pictures)
We were able to bring our own food and have it with the wine.

Visiting for the weekend, this was our final stop and the most surprising gem. Greeted and served with such sincerely welcoming service, we were treated to a lightpost ornament to remember our visit. We were given the history on the grounds as related to Thomas Kinkade as well as the background of the owners’ pursuit of this dream to make and sell great wines. We thoroughly enjoyed this winery and must return!

Not where you would expect...
So when I think of wineries, I think of Vineyards, on a hill side, open concept. This is not what I expected. Now this is not a bad thing. This place is in an industrial building, but really nice! We saw signs along 101 and thought let's try them. We pulled up and the first thing I thought was brewery. They area is very quiet. Their courtyard area is well kept (where you will do your tasting). Now the people here are very friendly. In fact the own/wine maker came and talked to us. She is so delightful. Really sweet and VERY knowledgeable about the

I visited Lightpost yesterday with two friends and my dog and we had a great time! We started out with a tasting flight and selected a bottle to share from our favorite. The woman working there was very attentive and kind, to both us and my pup :) Great atmosphere, loved the music selection, and all around nice time!

Visited here for a Tesla Owners of Silicon Valley wine and chocolate tasting event... Vibrant group of like minded people driving excellent smart machines!
This is a classy venue that could be used for corporate or social gatherings. The selection of wines is excellent.
I'll keep this venue in mind if I ever have a need.

Great wine, great music, this place knows how to rock!!! Also, they made a bottle of wine, not on the menu available for my date and I, which was stellar service. Big ups to the owners and the staff. Everyone was super friendly, and atmosphere was just so unique, it really made for a fantastic night.

My best friend took me here last weekend to celebrate my birthday and our experience was very pleasant. Unfortunately I can't remember the name of the woman that took care of us, but she was extremely welcoming from the very beginning. We came at a not so busy time and she happened to notice we were having some car trouble when we arrived and without knowing we intended to stop by for a tasting, she offered us to have a drink anyway. We ended up having to wait for a towing service, so the timing was perfect for us. We enjoyed the white & red flights - great wines! Love that we were welcomed

I have been wine tasting ever since college and this is one of the only wineries I have been to where EVERY WINE IS GREAT! Usually tasting rooms have a few noteworthy wines and then the rest of the list is "What was the winemaker thinking?". Not only are the wines great the but the tasting room staff is friendly and attentive. On the weekends you'll often see Sofia one of the owners there. She really knows her wine and works side by side with their excellent wine maker and can tell you all the interesting details about each vintage. Definitely worth a visit when you are tasting in

The tasting menu is diverse and the wines are very original. Bring your kids, bring your pets, bring a blanket to spread out on the clean shaded lawn, You will be happy you took a little time for your self away from all the craziness of life. Make sure you try the Gold Medal wines. Does anyone have a green thumb? Check out their airplant promotion.

We had a lovely experience here and were very impressed by the service! The champagne was wonderful, and the tastings were on par with what one would expect from Napa or Paso. There is no food available so perhaps bring your own charcuterie and enjoy with their delightful array of wines. We will definitely return.

My friend and I easily made an appointment via a phone call on Oct 20 for tasting on Oct 21 afternoon. The tasting room is a tranquil hidden gem just a few blocks from the bustle of a freeway entrance and shopping. Our host, Sophia, provided excellent service and detailed descriptions of each wine we were tasting. All the white and red wines we tasted were of good quality. We sat outside and had brought some crackers, meat, and cheese to enjoy with the tasting. It was very relaxing and not rushed. In the end, I purchased 6 bottles and my friend bought 3. I would definitely go back again.

Great new local tasting room in town and a welcome addition to thre community! Peter was more than helpful and made our experience memorable. The space is really great, as they have a nice large room in the back that would work well for private events, and a cute courtyard out front that is going to be great in the spring/summer. They just opened this past August and still have a few things in the works. I look forward to seeing what they have in store for us!
Now on to the important stuff, the wine. It's delicious! I'm partial to whites these days, so I really loved their Santa

Wines were very good and the staff was welcoming, accommodated our group, moved tables around for us etc. Lightpost stays open later than most (until 7PM Wed. through Sun. which is wonderful). And it wasn't crowded. Seating was very comfortable. Nice, new, clean facility with indoor and outdoor seating options as well as the tasting bar. The "business park ambiance" with freeway sounds wasn't as nice being in a winery located in the vines with more traditional vineyard sights and smells, but still ok. Given the somewhat steep prices for tastings ($15, $20, and $30 tasting

Happen to visit this place on their grand opening and so glad we did! Initially, as we pulled up, I thought it an odd being in a business park, but oh what a gem! Folks were great and the wine was FANTASTIC! We enjoyed their mid-level tasting and ended up going home with 4 bottles! Definitely will be back!
