Bailey Immigration
The bedrock of our immigration law firm in Portland is trusting relationships with our clients. The Bailey Immigration team offers experienced legal services at reasonable prices with a simple goal in mind: to keep families together, enable them to gain citizenship, defend against deportation efforts, and make the American dream a reality.

U.S. law provides relief for those who maintained residency in the U.S. for seven consecutive years. Otherwise, the more strict standards of Cancellation of Removal apply. The Family Based Immigration process is governed by a system of immigrant visas, each of which establishes specific terms and conditions for entering and remaining in the United States.
Services
Our dedicated team is passionate about the immigration process as all of us have our own personal family immigration stories. Diana M. Bailey received a Bachelor of Arts degree with Honors and Phi Beta Kappa from the University of California, Santa Barbara. Diana obtained her Juris Doctorate from Lewis and Clark School of Law in Portland, OR in 1998.
A waiver of deportation may be available if you are facing removal from the U.S. Please contact us to learn how the specifics of your case could be resolved with a deportation waiver. Section 212(c) provides relief for those who maintained residency in the U.S. for seven consecutive years. Otherwise, the more strict standards of Cancellation of Removal apply.
If you have ever been a victim of a crime in the USA or if an immediate family member has ever been a victim of crime in the USA, you may qualify for a U visa. Only certain crimes against you or your immediate family member will qualify you or your family member for this visa. Some examples are domestic violence, sexual abuse, felony assault, kidnapping, unlawful restraint, human trafficking and others.
The Ninth Circuit US Court of Appeals (this court decides cases coming out of Oregon, Washington, California, Arizona, Alaska, Hawaii, Idaho, Nevada & Montana). The EOIR has many immigration courts throughout the country. We typically see cases in deportation proceedings stemming from recent requests for asylum at the border, an application denial at USCIS (immigration) or a client who has committed a crime.
There are several ways to gain citizenship in the United States of America: by birth, deriving citizenship through certain family members, or applying for US citizenship after becoming a legal permanent resident. Legal Permanent Residents may apply for United States Citizenship after a certain period of time.

My spouse and I shopped" around for an immigration attorney in the Portland area. Not knowing much about Diana Bailey's firm, we took a chance and chose her office. We were a bit familiar from seeing her TV commercials. From the beginning, we were treated professionally and courteously. We met with Diana on the first visit, and then were assigned to one of her staff for our residency process to begin. Through every step of the process, we were in good hands. There were times that we felt like throwing up our arms and giving up, but Bailey kept us informed, prepared, and gave us a level of comfort

I had good experience with the office I am very satisfied with the experience I had here. I had gone to another attorney before but this office actually got things done and I can proudly say I got my residency today. My first language is French and I was relieved to see that they have a French attorney, Ian Royer in the office to make me feel comfortable with communication. I will be doing all future immigration processes here and have even referred my friends here. I am very happy and would always recommend them with anyone. Thank you.

I called in the very first time, gave my information. I was told the attorney would review my information and get back to me the following Monday. I did not hear from them. I called to get an update, the gal that picked up the phone was not able to find my information. She said " I can take your information again and submit it once more". I gave her my name and asked her to look for the information previously given to them, so that I do not have to resubmit the questionnaire. I asked for a follow up call. It has been over a month and have heard nothing!

Extremely satisfied and happy with their service. I received a call back as soon as I contacted them and was given straight and honest advice. I highly recommend them ! I love that they only take cases that they know for sure they will win and they tell you that before you even pay for anything . A lot of places get charge just for the appointment , but they don’t . They help me get my citizenship and they even had someone go with me that day of my interview and as of right now I have a new case open with them and I am so excited about ! I know I can trust them and they are extremely organized

I think the office was efficient with the communication and scheduling. I did this process 10 years ago and 10 years later I did the process again with the firm and it went smoother than before. Jessica helped us throughout the way, always with the help of the attorney Diana. We plan to have our family members do processes with them in the future as well.
