I called Modern Eyes last Friday to see if they had a same appointment and I am so glad they did! I had to bring both of my small children and my biggest worry was that the staff would be annoyed. Oh how I was so wrong. The staff was welcoming and happy and never showed a bit of annoyance with my 1.5 year old son yelling and throwing his shoes. I am so glad I chose this optometrist to go to. It was the best experience ever!

I live in Tennessee and travel to VA Beach every year just for Neal. My husband and I make a vacation out of it. It’s a pleasure to get our eye appointments done during vacation and Modern Eyes Optometry really works with our schedule to fit us in. My eyes are different than most, he’s the only doctor to research and find custom fit contacts for my eyes. I have never been able to wear contacts until him. He’s been the best!

This is my favorite optometrist in Virginia Beach hands down. I've gone to a few other optometrist practices, since I moved her a couple years ago, trying to find my place. None of them really cut it. This is it. Clean office, super friendly staff. Fantastic selection of glasses. Dr. Pithwa was awesome. Kind of shocked by the couple of bad reviews that I saw. My experience was absolutely phenomenal, so I have to question them...

Modern Eyes Optometry has been the only eye doctor that I have used since moving to VA Beach 8+ years ago and have no intentions of switching. I have been very satisfied with my experience. Dr. Neal and the whole team are very attentive to my needs. My only complaint is that I wish I could get my Gucci glasses and shades for a cheaper price there!!! 🤓😎

Been a patient for over 4 yrs & have always had great service whether its for my annual check up or for issues related to allergies or hypertension. Dr Pithwa & his team are thorough, friendly, & professional. They take their time, answer all your questions, & never make you feel rushed or just like another patient. Highly recommend them!

I went to Modern Eyes today for my annual exam and was very impressed! I had to find a new eye doctor when mine stopped taken our insurance. I felt like I had known Dr. Kanji for years and he made my visit very personable. If you are looking for a wonderful eye doctor that truly cares, check them out 😃
