Services
Although baking is a love of mine, I'd rather enjoy it a few days per week than daily. I am in deep appreciation that I am able to sell my pastries at the IX Art Park Farmer's Market each Saturday. And I do want to share that it comes from a place of accessibility for those with dietary needs. Pretty much all folks can indulge in thoughtful plant based pastries.

I live in Richmond, VA and specifically make a stop here every single time I’m in Charlottesville! I’d be a devoted patron of something like this existed where I live. Her savory goods are as good as the sweet. The best day bars are always changing and always perfect. Today I stopped in and got a savory masala spiral roll and it was easily my favorite i’ve had yet. She also had carob cupcakes with matcha frosting and both of these are so moist it doesn’t seem possible for vegan and gluten free, much less the whole grain goodness of everything she makes. This place is the epitome of healthy

Moon Maiden has some delicious treats! I haven't gotten to try the savory or the breads yet but I love her sweets! :P
There's not very much room inside though, only one table so expect to take whatever you get on the go. Owner and workers are very helpful & friendly. I love that there is a bakery where I don't have to worry about what's in it because I know that here I can eat everything! Being gluten/dairy free. I also really love how they make there stuff from complete scratch, so awesome.

This Bakery will broaden your experience of how yummy GF and Vegan can be! The flavors, and creative use of ingredients will “delight” you. There are no other bakeries in Charlottesville like this one . Sidney is humble genius. MMMMMmmmm! Galettes, seeded crackers and Biscotti are three favorites!

My husband and I needed a vegan wedding cake for our wedding in May 2019, and we approached Sidney, having had her yummy vegan treats both at the Charlottesville farmer's market and at her bakery. (As of May 2019, she was also the only baker in the Charlottesville area who could do a vegan wedding cake, at least according to my research -- go Sidney!) We had a three tier cake with lemon poppyseed cake and lemon icing for the outer two tiers and almond cake and maple pecan icing for the middle tier. Those flavor combinations might sound a little weird, but they were incredible! Apart from the flavors
