Our curriculum is designed to foster age appropriate development and pre-academic readiness through play. Four and five-year-old children are eligible for Florida's FREE Voluntary Prekindergarten Education Program. Morning and afternoon extended day options are available for families needing additional scheduling flexibility.

Services
It is our desire to provide a developmentally based, literacy focused, educational environment for the children, regardless of family or religious background. We wish to encourage positive social and emotional development in an environment that incorporates Christian values. Using an approach that focuses on the whole child, we wish to enrich all our students both intellectually as well as physically.
Our preschool facility has eight dedicated classrooms to accommodate up to 100 students. Each classroom is colorfully set up in learning centers that allow the children to explore a wide variety of fun yet educationally based activities. From the moment children enter the classroom in the morning, they are immersed in a print rich environment.
We offer flexible extended day options, allowing your family to build the preschool schedule that works best for your unique needs. We welcome you to drop by anytime for a tour of our preschool. AMAZING preschool program. Art, Chapel time, Music,“Monkeynastics” My wife went to preschool here so she wanted to enroll our daughter here. I will now send my son here in four years. The principle stands out front every morning greats each child and has a special and individual relationship with each one. They know every child’s first and last name exactly what room they are in. Knows all the parents names. I knew that when I left my daughter here she was going to be safe and receive the utmost care, attention, and education.

Both of our daughters have been going to Highlands Precious Gifts Preschool since they were 2 years old. We searched diligently for a preschool that was more than a daycare and we were pleased to find Highlands. Over the years that our daughters have been there, we have had the pleasure of knowing all of the teachers and staff. All teachers are certified and extremely attentive to our children's individual needs. Additionally, the administrative staff is more than just professional, they too take a personal interest in each child there... truthfully it feels more like an extension of our family

This is the best preschool in Jacksonville! My daughter was going there for just over a year when I moved about 20 miles away to a different side of town. I moved my daughter to another preschool, and she was so unhappy with that place that we came back to Highlands. The entire staff is wonderful, knowledgeable, and they truly care about each and every student. They make students and parents feel like family. I will keep my daughter here as long as I can--she is so happy and has had such a positive experience here. Awesome school that feels like a community!
