Berks Container Recovery
In 1985, West Lawn Beverage Company, our partner company, started recycling aluminum cans, glass, and plastic containers. After recognizing a growing need for recycling, Berks Container Recovery was created to help small boroughs begin a curbside recycling program. In 1993, the non ferrous metal sector was created and developed at its current location on Morgan Drive, Sinking Spring, PA.

The family business, now three generations strong, buys back over 130 different materials. This includes aluminum, copper, brass, stainless steel, and various alloys. We are one of the premier recycling centers serving Berks, Lancaster, Lebanon, Schuylkill, and Chester counties. We seize every opportunity to help create a better planet for generations to come and thank our customers for their continued support!

All of the employees are very nice! They help me unload when I come with a packed van! And better yet they remember you and have a real conversation with you, not the polite (but don't actually care) 'how are you'

These guys ... are the BEST to work with.
Highly recommend!! I have worked with them for well over 15 years. The owner... Dave ... is a very nice and very fair businessman to everyone and gives very fair prices for... recyclable metals such as... Aluminum, Copper, Brass, & Stainless

I've been in the scrap metal business for most of the last 25 years and have done everything from a bucket of turnings to days that someone had to run to the bank to get me some more money. I've done business in several areas in several states and have never been treated as fair and honest as Dave and his crew. Always helpful, and respectful to me… wether I had 10 lbs. or 1000 lbs. (Those were the days!) I've gone past several other yards, and even took a few cents less (on the super rare occasion that someone is paying more) just because I enjoy every experience that I have with Berks!
