Services
Served 11 am - 4:00 pm M - F The regular menu is available all day along with the regular portions of these dishes. A lunch sized portion of our spaghetti. Choose from either marinara or meat sauce, then add either meatballs or sausage if you'd like! A scoop of our homemade chicken or tuna salad on a bed of lettuce with tomatoes, crackers, and pasta salad.

I have to update my review: I finally tried the dessert and I found out the owners wife makes all of the desserts. Okay so the cheesecake one of the BEST cheesecakes I've ever had I wanted to go back and order a whole cheesecake. I also tried the lemoncello cake oh baby! Both deserts were amazing!
Also the staff is very friendly, always smiling and will even make small talk with you while you wait on your order.
It's hard to stay away from Giuseppe's def a hidden gem.

This place is so nice and personable. The food is amazing and prices are good for the large servings. Wow!! The pasta salad is pretty and yummy. Took home a serving of Teramisu it is great!! For my meal I had Shrimp Pesto Linguine yum yum yum yum!! Yes is took a minute to find but I would have driven an hour for the wonderful place. Thanks so much for a delightful and wonderful place that I really enjoyed!!😍😍

Giuseppe's is a Glen Iris GEM!!! Been open since 2002. It's quaint and they have outdoor seating as well. Delicious pizza and pasta and desserts. They also have salads and subs and calzones. The Baked Feta is always a must-have. And I alternate between the Meat Special and Giuseppe's Special when it comes to the 'za. So delicious and one of my favorite hidden gems of Birmingham.

You wouldn't think much of the place by just driving by, but all my college friends rave about it so I stopped by last night with my boyfriend. Really glad I did! Probably the best Italian food I've had in Birmingham. We had the manicotti and the chicken and prosciutto pene. Portions were huge and we both took home leftovers. Can't wait to go back and try something new!

ot is afamily owned restaurant and very, very tiny. there's only like 6-7 tables inside so expect a long wait time specially if you go on a weekend evening. i'm not sure if they take reservations, but i recommend you call and see before you show up because you will be waiting for hours. literally.
overall i rate this experience 3/5 due to the long wait and also the service was subpart. once we were sat, we waited a long time before out server acknowledged us or brought

I got the baked ziti here about a week ago and it was great! I got a Greek side salad to go with and it was great. Most of the time a side salad can be hit or miss but this was STELLAR! They have generous portions. I ate the second half of my baked ziti for lunch the next day and it made great leftovers too.

Went here on a whim because I've heard for years how great this place was and it didn't disappoint. There was no wait when we walked in because this is such a hidden gem. And when we sat down the waitress, Kelly, gave us all the care we needed. She suggested meals and also a good wine. She was on top of it all. Giuseppe's is one of my favorite pizza places. Went there for lunch today, have only ever been for dinner. There was a wait to sit inside but we were able to be sat outside right away. The service was good, quick and the pizza was out super fast. I really like their pizza because the crust is crisp and not soggy which is a problem you run into at other pizza places. The employees were wearing masks and the seating seemed to be spaced out more so than when I had gone pre-COVID 19. They also had signs up saying customers needed to have on a mask. My husband and I decided to visit this place since the food pictures here on Yelp looked delicious. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. I probably won't be back to this place as it didn't amaze me as I thought it would. The cheese bread was a big disappointment to me, it tasted like toasted hotdog buns with melted cheese. The Chicken and Prosciutto Penne pasta is very tasty but it's swimming in Alfredo sauce making it too cheesy. The pasta is more like Alfredo soup instead.

Today we went to Giuseppe's to get takeout after visiting Callahan in Birmingham. We ordered Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo, 7 Vegetable Penne, Chicken Cacciatore, Chicken Pesto Linguine, Club Sub and a House Salad. Everything was great. We have been coming here for several years. I am very happy they are still in business. The dining area is small. They do a great takeout business supplying students at UAB and citizens in the Birmingham area with freshly made hot delicious food. Tonight the Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo was the bomb. OG cannot make the dish better!!! My personal favorite is the
