When you bring in your bike, we'll check it over front to back to give you the most accurate estimate possible. Today's bikes are better than ever - increasing gear range, smooth, powerful disc brakes, suspension that feels bottomless. Bikes have come quite a ways since the days of 10 speeds and friction shifters.
We are so excited for you to be joining us! The Rocktown Rambler is a celebration of riding backcountry roads in the Shenandoah Valley. There will be gravel, some climbing, some descending, some singletrack, and a lot of fun! We welcome everyone that wants to have a good time - whether that is by racing, riding, or partying (or doing all three at once)!

This post is long overdue. Been going to rocktown for about a year now, but have been impressed from the first day I walked in. I've been in many bike shops before, but this is home for me now. Chris, Kelly, and Logan are top notch. Never have to second guess their work or recommendations. Everything comes back to me spot on, quickly, and they are very fair and transparent on pricing. Certainly some of the best mechanics in the area. Outside of that they are just awesome people. They love to talk bikes and can give great tips/recommendations, where I never feel like they are saying things only

I feel line Norm walking into Cheers every time I walk into Rocktown Bicycles. We live 45 minutes away, so are not in on a daily or weekly basis, yet every time we come I feel like they are genuinely pleased to see us. Great customer service and quality, speedy repairs are what keep us coming back over and over again. Our family has been loyal customers since 2013. Chris and Kelly are amazing!!!!

I brought my bike to Rocktown in pieces thinking it had broken miserably while out on a ride. A friend picked me up and took me right to Rocktown. Kelly looked at it and diagnosed the issue right away and said it was not broken but needed to be put back together as it had merely had the cassette fall off as well as the springs and cogs. She took the bike in and repaired it for me on the spot as well as diagnosed a couple other challenges and repaired those too.
Kelly was awesome and really went out of her way to assist me and get me back on the road. Bike rides great!

Incredible experience at Rocktown!! I'm super impressed. Visiting from out of town for a mtb weekend. 1st day of my trip my rear wheel caught a stick and broke a ton of spokes, flatted the tire, bent the derailleur and hanger (it sounded as bad as it was!). I thought it would ruin my trip! I called Rocktown and they said to bring it over. I got there around 4:30pm and was hoping to pick it up early the next day (which would have been impressive enough). Instead the mechanic at Rocktown called and said the bike was ready a couple hours later AND she offered to stay late and keep the shop open for

I got a bike fit by Chris at Rocktown. He was thorough and friendly and asked me a lot of questions so that he could be informed about exactly what kind of rider I am and what kind of needs I had in a bike fit. He is a good listener and gave great customer service. Anybody who wants to have an expert who listens to them and is very informed Should go to Rocktown for their bicycle needs and desires.
I also like the fact that I don’t have to be a professional baker to shop there or to talk to the staff. They treat everybody equally and I felt very well respected which I can always say when I go

This shop was recommended to me and for good reason! The staff was amazing. They got me setup on a demo bike that I rented and they went above and beyond to make sure I was going to have a great first experience while I was on their bike! They gave me a map and coordinates to the parking lot. I will be back to visit them the next time I am in town.
