Cor Carelsen moved to Crozet from South Africa with his family having guided for the last 14 years both by horse and by bicycle in a big game nature reserve in Botswana called Mashatu. His love of bicycles started as a child, and he has never given up the dream of cycling all over the world. Trained at BBI in Colorado, he has discovered that his passion is not only in riding them but also in fixing them.

Services
We aim to be your friendly, knowledgeable experts. We offer repairs for any make and model bicycles. Our mission is to serve our community with attention to detail and top class service and retail for both road and mountain cyclist. We will collect and drop of your bike from your home or place of work and with work orders of more than US 100 this is FOC.
A full day rental means 24 hours. Enjoy our bikes and treat them like your own! Please make sure you keep them locked up when not in use and wear a helmet at all times. Bikes are rented out on a first come first serve basis. All renters must sign our waiver and leave a valid form of id as well as a deposit before using a rental.
At the Crozet Composite Bicycle Club, we are passionate about cycling and want to share that with you. Cycling is more than just a sport it's a lifestyle and has many valuable lessons to teach our youngsters. We aim to help them and you on this path and our club should be a good starting point. We have listed some more benefits below, but as we know for each one of our members it's more than this, it's something personal to everyone.

I'm ashamed to say I didn't know this shop existed until I Googled "bicycle repair." The handlebars on my son's bike had come loose, causing much distress, since we could not for the life of us find the tool we needed to correct them. We drove over to Crozet, rolled the bicycle into the shop, and the proprietor had the bars tightened in 60 seconds. He didn't even charge us! We will certainly be taking all our repairs here, and I anticipate buying our next bicycle from the Crozet Bicycle Shop. Thank you for offering such friendly, neighborhood service!

Cor is one of the best bike mechanics I've worked with and I've been cycling competitively for over 30 years. He has done service/repairs/builds on road bikes, mountain bikes and tri/TT bikes for me over the last few years- when he was in Waynesboro working for another LBS and now at his own shop. Fantastic communication, upfront pricing and he stands by his work.
