We are a specialty boutique providing our customers with the finest in Aboriginal and Batik fabrics, long arm quilting services on a Gammill Statler Stitcher, custom quilts, classes, batting, notions and unique gift items, as well as gift certificates.
We have always been involved in the commissioning of custom quilts, beginning with tee shirt and memory quilts. Commissions are available for all quilting needs-baby to California King size, including art wall hangings find. I'm looking forward to completing many fabulous quilts together. We have received the new selection of Aboriginal Fabrics and you are sure to find something to love about them.
I must tell you that when I opened the box and pulled out my quilt and pillow, I was truly overjoyed as I looked at them. When I first contacted you and discussed what I was hoping to have done, I wasn't sure what to expect for the finished product. The colors of the fabric you sent via mail over the miles between you in California and me in Texas.
Our quilting is done on a Gammill Statler Stitcher which is a computerized long arm quilting machine. The throat size is 26", so we are able to quilt patterns up to 21" high. If the occasion arises, we can also do some hand-guided quilting. We have a wide range of patterns from edge-to-edge, to blocks and borders.
We have a wide selection of batik fabrics from Bali on our shelves so you can find just the right fabric for your projects. I always look forward to visiting Not Just Quiltz! This is a local, family-owned business in the historic Niles Canyon area. I am a beginning quilter, but everyone is always very helpful and willing to take the extra time when I have questions. I purchased a pair of high quality (Karen Kay Buckley) scissors here for an animal applique class--which was also really fun and informative!--and they are my favorite scissors for cutting thread or small pieces of fabric with precision. I’m beyond happy with the service. I brought in a very old blanket that belonged to my father-in-law that passed. I wanted to make the blanket into two pieces; a throw blanket for my husband and a baby blanket for my son. I wasn’t sure if it could be done because there was a lot of tears in the fabric, but Nancy was able to deliver! The tears were repaired and stitched up and a beautiful boarder was added. I’m so happy with the pieces, they were beautifully done.

As part of the Virtual Shop Hop, I ordered a beautiful set of aboriginal style fabrics. Having been to the Australian Outback, these colorful fabrics brought me back to those lovely days! I recently placed an online order and it came in 2 days. The packing slip even had a handwritten note from the owner. I've been to the store several times, and it has beautiful aboriginal fabrics. They have some fun notions, too, and a while back I bought a spray bottle that I use for Mary Ellen's Best Press and that bottle is the cat's meow, so they have some treasures. If you haven't ever been to this store in person, check it out. It's kind of tucked away, but it's in historic Niles Canyon, which has a ton of fun antique stores and a really nifty museum about

The line of Australia fabrics is only out done by the service. The owner called me and explained an availability problems with a couple Items on my order. (this was in late May and Cova19 ).
She spent time explaining different options and helping me decide.

Poor customer service! I went there to look for a very special gift for a baby. The woman who came to me said their fabrics are not for infants. I could have come back with a special cloth suitable for infants so I asked for a brochure/catalogue but she said their items are expensive. Really? A merchant tells that to a customer? Who does that? They even have the nerve to put a sign on their door that they're on yelp.

I came in here with a super last minute request and I was greeted very nicely and Nancy and Kent were super nice and helpful and got it done for me super quick and easy and the price was great!! I would highly recommend coming to not just quilts because it's not just quilts!

I actually called them because Yelp Sao the do alterations, they do not. But the gentleman that answered went above and beyond anything I could of asked for he suggested a few places that do. Thanks you him I was able to get my dress fixed! I love around the corner from this place I must check it out now. I can only imagine what amazing products the do.

I was looking for a couple of handkerchiefs to get embroidery done, about maybe 10 pieces. Just something simple, like initials. So I searched up something near my house and Not Just Quiltz popped up at the top. So sure! Why not! It's right by my house and considering that they have 4.5 stars it sounded like a plan to me.
I arrived there with a friend. We walked in and they just stared at us. Not even a "hello". Just looked at us went back to their work. It was raining and very windy, so

I brought my quilt in to be finished on Tuesday and I just got it back today, Friday. Not Just Quiltz did an awesome job with it. They were very helpful in answering my questions, and making sure it didn't cost too much as I am on a budget. They have a wide selection of basting patterns and thread colors, and work closely with you and your quilt to chose the right one. I am very satisfied with the job they did and would recommend to anyone that needs a quilt done.
Also, they offer classes, which I hope to take one day!

I had a patch embroidered with my daughter's name on it which only took
a day to complete which I am very happy about. I was not too pleased that they called right before they were closing to tell me the patch was finished. I rushed out the door to catch them, otherwise I would have had to wait another day. No big deal.
I was referred to come here by a friend who got the same patch done. However, I got charged more and my daughter has fewer letters in her name and the size of the lettering's compared the same. I was displeased with this as well. I could have disputed the price, but
