Originally Zeki's Tailor Shop, at Sedat's Fine Tailoring & Dry Cleaning in Fairport, NY, we strive to continue the excellence in service our predecessor provided. Upon retirement, Mr. Zeki passed his measuring tape to the highly-skilled and talented new owner, Sedat Rengin. Mr. Rengin, formerly of Hickey Freeman and Men's Warehouse, has more than 20 years of experience in the industry as a master tailor and principal tailor teacher.

I had to writea review for this business! I took my wedding gown in to be altered after checking around at several places. He was very responsive to my questions, and very friendly.
I was a little nervous about the work that needed to done. I needed the dress taken in A LOT, and have a bustle added on two layers. On my first appointment he explained everything he needed to do, step by step and very clearly. He asked every step if it sounded okay. And, explained why each thing needed to be done. He asked questions about the fit, etc as we went through the process.
I went back today to pick up

Sedat saves the day!!
My son was getting married on Saturday, and an hour before the ceremony took his tuxedo out of the bag and discovered a huge hole in the pants. The tuxedo company didn't have any replacements, so we called around to multiple tailors - most of whom either didn't have time or weren't working on a Saturday.
Then we found Sedat! He told us to come right over and had everything repaired within 30 minutes, got the pants pressed like brand new, and we made it to the church with 2 minutes to spare.
If you are looking for an incredible professional with great prices, do yourself

I’ve brought a couple garments to Sedat including dresses, pants, and a winter coat to be altered and repaired. He always does a pristine job especially with difficult fabrics! His attention to detail is amazing, he noticed a rip in my coat that I didn’t even see. I highly recommend Sedat and I’ll keep coming back as long as I need something tailored!

I went in thinking that all I needed was the bottom of the dress shortened and explained that the front of the dress was too open and I felt uncomfortable. He gave me professional suggestions for how he could tailor it. This took place on a Monday and I needed it done no later than Friday. Even in this busy time of year, he put in the extra effort to have it done for me by Thursday. This left me extra time to prep other wedding aspects which I worried I would not get to.

My husband needed to have two suit pants altered. We checked reviews and decided to take them to Sedat's. Best decision ever. They are the nicest people, friendly and so willing to help you. The workmanship was fabulous and we couldn't be happier. The price was very reasonable for quality work. We suggest everyone go to Sedat's if they need alterations.

I will not dispute his skill but I take great offense at his business practice. Be warned that his prices are high - and he stated that he only gives an estimate if the customer asks for one. My daughter dropped off a bridesmaid's dress for alterations and failed to ask for an estimate. Please note that if she had known the prices she would have modified her request. A $100 dress cost over $100 to alter - I was shell- shocked. And he reiterated to me that he saw nothing wrong with his practice of not providing estimates and happily took money from a very unhappy customer. Not a business I

I brought in my wedding dress to be altered. Sedat is very meticulous and careful with clothing. Everything looked so neat and perfect! No shortcuts were taken, not even with adding the extra cups. I had another ceremony dress altered in a bridal-specific alterations place (unfortunately I went there first) and Sedat's work was clearly far superior to that or any other alteration experience I have ever had. Never going anywhere else.

My daughter insisted on a vintage outfit for prom. Tux jacket from France, bustier and tuxedo shorts. Every single piece needed to be resized. The jacket and top were pretty much total reworks I think. This type of work is an artistry, I believe and as such, does not come cheap but Sedat, who is so nice, did such an amazing job AND finished a day early! We are just so pleased and will always bring our pieces here! Thank you Sedat!

I believe it's now called Sedat's. I went in to have a silk bridesmaid dress tailored on very short notice, and they were able to complete them in less time than I expected and the work was beyond precise! When I picked up my dress they had also steamed and pressed it. It's such a relief knowing I can now take alterations there after work since they have later hours. Very convenient. As if the work and speed wasn't enough, their prices are fantastic, and they are just so so nice. I HIGHLY recommend.
