Since 2006, Dr. Michelle Dougherty has been providing natural and effective chiropractic care to those in Naperville. Our practice name encompasses what we're all about. If given a choice most people would want to be healthy for a lifetime and avoid illness. While eating right and exercising each day go a long way toward helping you stay healthy, chiropractic is another critical piece of the wellness puzzle.

Growing up on a dairy farm in Wisconsin, Dr. Carrie would go with her parents when they got adjusted at the chiropractor's office. Dr. Carrie earned her Doctor of Chiropractic at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport. One of the highlights of her time there was doing a clinic abroad in Brazil.
Chiropractic skeptics often pooh-pooh the idea of periodic chiropractic checkups after symptoms subside with the classic "if it's not broke, don't fix it" line. This justification often results in a relapse of the original problem for countless patients. Why? Because biomechanical changes along the spine affecting nerves and muscles don't heal like a cut, infection or some other self-resolving health condition.

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Michelle and her staff. They are always courteous and encouraging and determined to find the root of the problem and fix it. I recently moved to a town that's an hour away from the office but find myself coming back again and again because I just can't place my trust in another team. This group is hard to beat!

Dr Michelle and Dr Carrie are life savers! We were referred to their practice by our son’s pediatrician and our myofunctional therapist after his lip/tongue tie surgery.
He was having so many difficulties between the ties and an undiagnosed milk protein intolerance (that Dr Michelle was crucial in helping us get diagnosed) that he wasn’t getting hardly any sleep.
Almost immediately after his first few adjustments, his daytime naps improved. Once the milk protein intolerance was diagnosed and addressed, and we had a few more adjustments under our belt, his nighttime sleeps began to improve

We love love love LHW! We started seeing Dr Carrie and Dr Michelle after my daughters tongue & lip tie procedure and it has been one of the best things for her. Not only has it helped with her feeding, but also with her digestion and overall energy. The entire staff is so welcoming and friendly - I look forward to seeing them every week and I can already tell that my daughter loves going! We will definitely be keeping LHW apart of our families routine going forward!

My daughter suffered from asthma, eczema and allergies ever since she was two years old. I felt helpless not knowing how to help her. We saw many doctors for her symptoms and they kept prescribing antibiotics, steroids and inhalers. Her little body was tired and fragile from all the medications. All the steroids started to change her sweet personality. I didn't know much about Chiropractic care but I am so glad I gave it a chance! I heard many wonderful things about Dr. Michelle and Lifetime Health & Wellness.

Our family has been going here for years as part of our overall wellness. Everyone at LTHW is so caring & knowledgeable. Not only do they keep me feeling good I’ve also learned so much from them.
