Bareiter Counseling Center
We provide individual counseling, marriage counseling, and family/child counseling. Each of our clinicians are competent, professional and compassionate. We value each person and find it a privilege to walk with those who are hurting or want to grow personally, spiritually or relationally. Includes counseling for anxiety, depression, trauma, sexual addiction compulsion, men's issues, and Christian spirituality.

Marriage counseling and couples therapy to help you heal, grow and transform your relationship into a loving and deeply fulfilling connection. We are delighted to offer play therapy as an option for our young clients, ages three to ten years. Teen counseling and Dialectical Behavior Therapy to help your teen talk about their complex feelings and learn the skills necessary to make healthy choices and heal from what is troubling them.
Services
We realize that no two people are the same and as such tailor our therapies to meet the specific needs of our clients. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression or any other issue, we will help you recognize underlying problems, fully realize your strengths and adjust certain behaviors and thoughts to see things a different, healthier way.
We are passionate about helping clients grow spiritually and emotionally while honoring and respecting all belief systems. Our approach is very individualistic and we use a wide range of interventions depending on where the client is on his/her journey. One of our highest values in working with someone is our respect for their own process.
Do you find yourself feeling hopeless or lacking energy and motivation. Do you feel like you are just getting by? Do you feel like you are trying to walk through water, with everything taking so much effort? Sometimes depression can make it seem like you are living under a black cloud that refuses to allow the sun to shine on you.
Have you ever been surprised by your reactions? Does it at times feel like your emotions may be out of proportion to the situation? Do you feel overcome by fear, anxiety, a sense of dread or hypervigilance? It can feel frustrating when your feelings seem so overwhelming or off-kilter. Perhaps you struggle to trust others.
Are you struggling with sexually compulsive behavior? Has this compulsion begun to dominate your life? This powerlessness is a part of the addiction. Sex addiction is "A pathological relationship with a mood-altering experience." Statistics show that at minimum 17 million people suffer from sex addiction.
