This is the best salon I've been, at least until now 😁 my nails were done by a good technician, I am totally satisfied with it. The salon is clean, nice and I always feel welcomed when I was there. I read some positive and negative reviews about this place, but each person will have their own experiences, so give yourself and the salon a try. They recommend me to call or book an appointment online, they do take walk-ins but you have to wait or come back later if there's no available slot. I love this place and definitely will come back. Thanks for all lovely ladies at JVA. Happy new year to

I decided to visit this salon for a full set and pedicure and was disappointed the service was really bad. Not only did I feel rushed, I went on a weekday so no one was there and they started on my full set when I was getting my pedicure (she should’ve waited she was getting powder everywhere) and Jennie was rough doing my hands, Jennie started the full set and another employee finished it. I showed her a picture of the nails I wanted she said they could do it and they didn’t. Mind you it was French tip for full set the most traditional nail style and it came out super THICK and tacky and uneven

I was concerned about a few of the reviews saying they were rushed, so I made an appt for mid afternoon on a weekday. I was literally the only one there and my nails came out beautiful. Not to mention, the place was spotless. I’m so happy to have a good place within walking distance of the Clarendon station!

This was my first time coming to this nail salon and I live in DC. I'm not originally from here so it took me the whole morning to find a good nail salon and I got exactly what i wanted and more!!! Jenny was great!! I booked an appointment online and she was able to take me in even at an earlier time!! I went during a weekday in the afternoon and it wasn't busy because everyone is at work at that time. I gave Jenny a picture and she said she was able to do it and she did exactly that! She exceeded my expectations and Jenny will be my go to person to do my nails every time! Love her!

My experience has been excellent! Everyone is great. Everyone is dedicated to cleanliness. Very professional. They accommodate walk ins very well. My dip manicure was the best I've ever had, and I dont mind requesting what's necessary to make it last longer (my nails take a beating regularly and this is the only dip manicure that lasts). The pedicure is also wonderful. Amazing color selection for any skin tone and undertone. Highly recommend.

This is the best nail salon I’ve been to in my life. Liz + Jenny are AMAZING, I’ve not gone to a single other salon in the DMV since finding them during quarantine. My SNS sets last from 2-3 weeks, they’re very fast + have incredible prices. I’m not a pedicure person but every time I’m in here I’m SO tempted to try their spa treatment because it looks so relaxing. If you need a new nail place JVA is IT!

I have been going to Jenny to get my nails done for a few months now! She really does a phenomenal job and worked to address my concerns with my cuticles. I always leave the salon with beautiful nails!! I will continue coming to this salon and seeing Jenny for all my sns manicure needs!

3 stars because Jenny is great... go to Jenny if you do decide to try this place out- I had a very poor experience with another nail tech... I'm a firm believer that if you cannot do something you shouldn't agree to doing it especially if the customer is paying. I asked if I could do the design in the picture below, and the nail tech said yes. Once she finished painting the blue and white lines I said... can we do the rest of the design? She then told me they do not have the foil stickers and that she wasn't able to do the black leaf.... really?!?! Why did I waste an hour sitting

First impression was great. I came through an appointment, asked me to wash my hands quick and picked a color. Requested acrylics with gel color and everything came out really nice. They have complied with the COVID requirements and everything has been great. I had to come back a few days later because a nail was chipping and wanted it fixed right away. Came back without an appointment and they were able to assist me. Overall, it was a great experience and I plan on coming back.

I decided to get pampered for my birthday and JVA Day Spa was a great choice. It was very clean, modern and inviting space. Jenny & Anna provided great customer service on our pedicure & manicure for my sister and I. I love the color I got for my manicure & pedicure.
COVID precautions: they require you to wash you hands as soon as you walk in & wear mask at all times.
Overall, the cleanliness of the place along with the service & beautiful spa is enough reason to visit for yourself.

I have been trying to find a decent nail salon in Arlington and was unsuccessful until finding this gem!!!! I went in today and had my nails painted by Linda. Great service and so so so friendly. She did an AMAZING job on my nails and was super patient with me ( despite me taking forever to find a color). The owner is taking appropriate safety measures to protect employees and clients from covid exposure. All clients must wash hands upon entering, and there are plastic protective screens in between the nail artists and the clients. I felt safe in this establishment! Thank you!

This place use to be Divine Nail Spa but is now JVA. I live in the area and this is my go to nail salon so I was taken aback when I visited and saw a new business. I got a regular mani. Looks great. Place is clean and has all new decor. Very modern. The nail tech wasn't that gentle with my hands, which as a black woman I am conscious of. People often aren't gentle with us, and that can be felt through touch. I also didn't like how I wasn't offered any tea & how another nail tech (maybe manager) tried to bully me into getting gel.

I followed my girl Thuy here from her old salon because a) I'm loyal and b) she's the best manicurist I've ever had (between Boston, Baltimore, and Arlington) and the best SNS tech I have had since I started using it (I've tried 3 other salons in the area and at least half a dozen technicians).
The salon is in its infant stages--but in the two months since they opened they have replaced all the pedicure stations, the drying station, all the chairs...new lighting. It has been a night and day transformation.
Parking can be a little tricky in the area. Clarendon Ave gets busy
