Dash of Thyme was originally created with the idea that a person could "dash" into town and pick up a gift without having to drive to the mall. We sell pre-wrapped items and offer free gift wrapping to make your buying a unique gift easy. Many of our gourmet food products (like Stonewall Kitchen and Robert Rothschild Farm) find their way into our store through customer requests.
Our greatest achievement was also our biggest challenge. In August of 2011, Hurricane Irene blew through NJ and left rising rivers in her wake. Our store, which had been opened a total of 7 weeks at that time, was under 4 feet of water. We lost everything-all the inventory, furniture, floor, walls, everything.
Our supplier only buys harvested olive oils from producers and never from middlemen. Not only do they know the specific region where the olives are grown, they know the exact farm, farmer and mill that produced the olive oil they purchase. At a time when there is a river of adulterated and substandard olive oil flooding the market, traceability is extremely important!
Infusing is the process of adding flavor to olive oil after it has been made. The infused extra virgin olive oils that we get from our supplier uses the freshest extra virgin olive oils available in their collection and are the "most aesthetically compatible" with the natural products they use to flavor them with.
Dash of Thyme offers an extensive selection of Balsamic Condimentos from around the world. Whether you choose our Traditional Balsamic, our Fig, Tangerine or Pomegranate Balsamic, a White Balsamic or maybe our new Blueberry Balsamic, our wide range of flavors and styles of Balsamic Condimentos are perfect by themselves or paired with one of our extraordinary olive oils.

It took me forever to try this place and now I don't know what I was waiting for. They have the best gifts for so many people on my list. the last time I was there, I picked up a beautiful cast iron scented wax melting kit that I gave to a treasured colleague. She loved it! I plan to return for a few more gifts for the holidays.

What a unique little store filled with Oils and Syrups and Spices plus Gifts & I know I'm missing so much more products that they have, there is a lot of Specialty items I'm leaving out as I can't remember them all from my 1st visit. I'll have to add more later. Stay tuned. The employees are Extra helpful and Kind!!!!!

Jenn Bebert Fox and her staff have really outdone themselves to make this a place that you can go to if you're looking for a way to treat yourself to a delicious cocktail mix and other gourmet goodies. (I was searching for some cocktail mixes that I could add my own alcohol to, I bought one of each!) They're also doing an awesome job at making you feel extremely safe and comfortable during the craziness that is COVID19.
The store setup makes it very homey and inviting and they've got goodies for everyone, it's also the ideal place to stop if you're looking for a gift for that special someone in

Dash of Thyme is one of the most unique and trendy shops in Denville. I work down the street from them, and whenever i need a thoughtful gift for someone or am looking for a new balsamic for myself, Dash of thyme is the place to go. They have a HUGE selection of olive oils and vinegars. My personal favorite is the blueberry balsamic and the cranberry pear white balsamic. The peach white balsamic is amazing too! I highly recommend this place for every occasion.

If you or someone you know likes to cook, and you like infused olive oils and balsamic vinegars, then you NEED to stop in and shop at Dash of Thyme. Every year during the Denville street fair we stop by their booth and stock up on goodies, but we stopped in here during Small Business Saturday in Denville and the actual store is just so cool.
Besides the oils and vinegars, this place has a great selection of gifts for anyone who loves cooking or just someone who is hosting a party to whom you need to give a gift. The women who run Dash of Thyme (I assume they are the owners) are super helpful

Fun boutique store in the heart of Denville's town center, specializing in gift items! I picked up a really cool wine carrier and some summer home decorations. And they have a spaghetti bowl set that I have my eye on for Christmas!
