In 1971, Reliable Wholesale Lumber, Inc. was founded by Anna Higman and her two sons, Jerome and Daniel, in Temple City, California to serve the mobile home industry, as well as residential contractors. In 1974, the Higman's purchased ten acres in Huntington Beach in order to serve their Orange County customers and to increase sales.

Reliable Wholesale Lumber has grown with a tradition of service that dates back to the very roots of the company. Reliable Wholesale Lumber is dedicated to supplying the specific needs your company may require.
After starting in June of 1972, it really doesn't feel like it's been almost 41 years at Reliable. I have always been treated with respect and have been made to feel like part of the Reliable family. Please consider applying for a career at our family owned and operated company and find out why average tenure is fifteen years plus.

Lumber sales man Paul wasn't even willing to quote me a price he said they don't work with small projects. I originally asked for 3 to 4 units because I ran out of my supply. I usually get a full semi truck load of lumber and go through it in a month or 2 so i asked him to quote me for a full semi truck load or whatever his minimum is and he was unwilling. i know its a wholesale lumber place that is why i asked for their minimum purchase amount and not only did he deny an answer and service but he did not offer a reasonable explanation as to why. May be he assumed I don't run a business ...not
