Excepting the great sequoias of California, Douglas Fir is the most gigantic tree of the Pacific forests. Under best conditions, it ordinarily reaches 180 to 190 feet in height and from three and a half to six feet in diameter. These massive trunks, clear of branches for 80 to 100 feet are straight and with only a slight taper.

Huff Lumber Company is well known in the industry for it's wide range of timber sizes. 22" up to 2424" and in lengths up to 50 feet. Specializing in Douglas Fir, Huff Lumber transports beams, timbers, and post on the finest fleet of diesel trucks in the area. The appearance of these vehicles is typical of the meticulous care and effort that constitute the overall policy, quality, and highest customer service provided in all departments.
Raised grain - Looks like a sand blasted product. The soft grain in the timber is removed to create a more dramatic appearance of the heavy grain. Distressed - A custom hand worked finish that is used to create the look of an old barn. Distressing creates the illusion of a timber weathered and beaten by the natural elements without affecting the structural durability of the piece.

Stopped in to look for a few pieces of large scrap wood to help level our 5th wheel trailer. This is a large wood production facility that doesn't handle our type of requests. We are the very small fish in the sea.
Everyone here was so awesome, instead of kicking us out, they gave us what we needed at a very fair price. Everyone was so friendly.

A few months ago my mom was in desperate need of a new fence in the back and sides of her home.
So we called up Troy at Huff Lumber who walked her through every step of the process from deciding what type of wood she needed, what treatments should be done on the wood prior to installation, sizing, amount and pricing.
Troy sold us all of the product in proper sizes for each section of the yard space at extremely reasonable prices! Never tried to upsell my mom, recommending the treated wood because she wished to paint it later, which would make it last longer!
