If you are experiencing painful swelling in the back of your foot just above the heel, you may be suffering from Achilles Tendonitis. This troublesome condition affects the Achilles tendon, which is the strongest and largest tendon in the body and connects the leg to the foot as it stretches from the lower leg to the heel bone.
Typically occurring in both feet, brachymetatarsia is a condition characterized by a short metatarsal. The foot has five metatarsals and this condition results in one shortened toe. If more than one of the long bones of the foot is affected, it is known as brachymetapody.
The causes of brachymetatarsia are genetic or situational, meaning that you can be born with it or it can be induced by premature closure in the metatarsal growth plate due to a trauma.If you suffer from brachymetatarsia, you may find it difficult to properly balance or smoothly transfer weight across the toes when walking or running.

Most often found on the inner foot near the big toe but sometimes located on the fifth toe, bunions are a painful yet common condition caused by inflammation of the bursa. Bursa resides in the connective tissues of the bodies and is essentially a small fluid filled sac. The inflammation and thickening of these sacs creates a problematic bone formation that forces the toe out of alignment and causes great discomfort.
It is rare to find someone who walks with both feet in perfect alignment. Often we walk on the inside or outsides of our feet, or with our toes or heels rotated inward. These typical walking patterns can cause many problems not just with the feet but also for the whole body as the alignment of the feet sets the foundation for the whole body's alignment.

Not only is he extremely knowledgeable but he is also very professional, nice and gentle.
I had an excruciating gout Attack in my left foot bunion and I was in immense pain. He did an X-ray on the spot, gave me pain meds and drew my blood to check for my Uric acid levels.
If you’re deciding where to go and are looking for a foot specialist look no further.

I am so thankful I found Dr.Bazak....after many podiatrist consultation no one would help my mom with her pain. He is very polite, caring and knowledgeable my mom can talk better and no more pain. Very, very satisfied. I had a nasty infected ingrown big toenail which, if I had left it any longer, could have been very serious. Dr. Bazak was able to see me immediately, was in my insurance network and was friendly, reassuring and thorough. Had a small surgery and Dr. Bazak was very kind and caring throughout. Clean premises, friendly reception staff and easy to find location. Would recommend.

Came in to visit Dr Bazak after a taxi cab ran over my foot. Dr Bazak was able to meet with me quickly, give me an x ray and luckily I had no broken bones, so I was able to get back into action after a week of resting my foot. Dr. Bazak noticed an issue with my posture that other doctors had pointed out in the past; however, I had not purchased orthotics in the past because of the significant cost. He was able to offer an affordable orthotic and his brilliant desk staff was able to work with my insurance to have them cover part of the cost.

Dr. Bazak is a wonderful doctor! I came in for ingrown toenail and the whole procedure was simple and easy. I am extremely scared of needles so for me getting the anesthesia shot was more frightening than the actual procedure but the doctor was extremely understanding and did not even show a bit of annoyance. He was so caring and took me step by step and made this experience so effortless. You don't find much doctors that genuinely stop to help the patient feel fully comfortable before starting. The staff are so nice and friendly as well always smiling.

Dr. Bazak is by far the best Doctor you can find. He makes every effort to solve your problems and its obvious every time you are in the office that he actually cares. There is nothing worse than having an issue and having a doctors office tell you they can't fit you in for two weeks, not here - same day appointments are always offered. I would recommend Dr. Bazak to anyone out there looking for a fantastic podiatrist!

How can I put this? Dr. Bazak is the best doctor in LA! Beyond being kind, intelligent, long suffering with every question under the sun, he is their for you 24/7. I have been seeing Dr. B for over 10 years. He has mended me from several crazy injuries. I have had a broken toe, broken foot, sprained ankle and twisted ankle. Can you believe that? As an amateur athlete, healing my foot from these issues are a huge priority in my life. With Dr. B's supervision my broke foot and all the other issues I face, big or small, have all healed nicely.
