I completely recommend Alpha Krav Maga. If you are on the fence, don't be. Sam is absolutely wonderful, effective, knowledgeable and funny. As a single mom, I feel so much safer and more confident after talking these classes. Sam's classes gave me the knowledge and practical skills needed to keep myself and my daughter safe in almost any situation. We practiced many different settings and situations and Sam taught me so many different ways to defend myself. I was in a classroom setting and it was very comfortable. Even for those who might be shy, the other students are great and helped

I just started and love it. I look forward to going whenever I can. The instructors are great and make it easy to understand the techniques. It's hard work but I believe it will pay off. Your body and mind will get tougher without question and I have no doubt that over time I will learn to be able to properly defend myself and my loved ones.

I highly recommend Alpha Krav Maga Scottsdale. Sam and Bert have been the absolute best instructors who clearly care about their students and improving their skills. As I've gotten older, there's been a sense of insecurity when it comes to my family and my safety. Krav Maga is helping to improve my self confidence as I learn to best protect myself on the outside chance I'm the subject of an attack. Part of the mantra, if you will, is Sam and Bert's students will not be "victims." Even if this wasn't about self defense, the workout is terrific! Check it out!!

If you're looking for practical/applicable self defense Alpha Krav Maga is the place. Bert and Sam have years of experience in Krav Maga and continue to train in the martial art themselves. Class size is great, location is easy, and they even have seminars (e.g., knife defense, active shooter defense) to add to your Krav Maga toolbox. Give it a shot and you'll learn why you need it...

Sam & Bert really take the time to help verbally and physically teach everyone so you feel like your getting one on one help with everything. The classes are reasonably sized and spacious. 5++Stars!!!! Alpha Krav Maga Scottsdale is the real deal with self defense training! Coach Sam and Coach Bert are extremely knowledgeable and have the awards, championships and certifications to back it up. They explain the why and they are very detailed with the fundamentals and the correct process. No shortcuts here, you want to learn the right way this is the place. This is all they do and they are passionate and take pride in their training.

My son and I have been training at Alpha for two months and absolutely love every second of it. The instructors are legendary in the art and attentive to every student regardless of skill level. This is the workout regimen I've been searching for, not to mention the fascinating history of Krav Maga! Highly recommend to men, women, and children.

This is a first class training facility! The instructors truly care about their students. All their classes are both pertinent to real life situations as well as a fantastic workout.
I am a firm believer in women learning self defense techniques and this is the place to learn it!
