Had a fabulous time at Magruder's today. The owner spent a great deal of time with my Wife and I explaining his adventures creating their beautiful wines. I work in a winery on the Niagara Escarpment and was impressed so much with his expertise. We tasted his red flight - every single wine was exemplary! We left with many bottles to share with friends back home.

Of most wineries in geneva, we like this one the best. They had 3 options for tastings, where 5 wines were pre-selected. We liked this method as they pick wines that go well together. All of the wines we tried were fantastic and the winery itself was quant! We loved the decor, but its not A/C or heated so be aware

LOVED, LOVED, LOVED this winery. They had such a unique atmosphere. We had our tasting with the owner and she was very nice. They are not apart of the huge wine trail on Seneca lake so you aren't going to run into huge crowds and long waits. One of the great things about visiting these type of wineries that are off the beaten path is that they can recommended other wineries where you will have a similar experience. I had thought I was going to sample their all red option but I am glad I didn't as I ended up going home with a bottle of white.

This is an awesome winery. We stumbled on it by accident and so lucky that we found this place. The remodeled barn is incredible - you must see it! The wines are very good - loved the entire dry tour. Absolutely recommend "bad monkey" merlot, right up there with the best California wines. I was never a finger lakes wine fan until I had some of this wine. The wine maker is a cool guy, and shared the process with us. Definitely recommend!

What a fabulous place! The owners conducting our tasting and were friendly and informative. I learned more about wine from that winemaker than any other I have talked to. The wines are delicious. I loved the Sweet Lacey and took home a case. The barn that houses the tasting room is truly unique. It’s a mix of old Ireland and old Finger Lakes. Every nook and cranny has something of interest, even the restrooms. The views are breathtaking! My friend and I had a great time and are looking forward to coming back for more fabulous wine.
