Vishal came to the US from India in, 2004 after having completed his Bachelors as well as Masters in Pharmacy. After completing US licensure requirements, he worked as a pharmacist and ultimately pharmacy manager with a chain store in the New Jersey area. He moved to North Carolina for his family, while he continued to work for the chain.
All the while, Vishal's dream was to own an independent pharmacy practice so he could pursue his passion of patient care, and customer service. In 2016, Vishal did just that, when he opened the doors to Summit Pharmacy and Surgical Supply. Vishal continues to grow his services at the store and lives in the Greensboro area with his wife and two daughters.

Summit Pharmacy is proud to offer many pharmaceutical services. We accept most major insurance cards, such as Caremark, PAID, Blue Cross, and Cigna, as well as NC Medicaid. Summit Pharmacy also provide health-related products and services. We also accept the new Medicare Part D prescription drug cards, such as Humana, Partners, Blue Cross, Community Care, and many others (we are a Medicare Part D approved pharmacy).

Summit Pharmacy is by far the best mom/pops pharmacy in town! Victor is very knowledgeable and is willing to go above, beyond for his customers. I am a cash paying patient so even when I think I can't save on my med Victor saves me money always. The ladies here are always very friendly, super helpful as well. They always treat their customers with respect and prompt service even on the busiest of days. 5 stars indefinitely!! 😉

The best pharmacy I've ever been too! Excellent customer service whose owner and employees deeply care about their customers. I have had no issues and only the best service at Summit Pharmacy and Surgical Supply. Their care and service to the disabled community are unsurpassed, which can be a demanding customer base to serve. You can't go wrong with this pharmacy. The owner is a great person and manager, and the owner is someone you would want to ensure your trust in for your medication and medical needs.
