Seattle Lutheran High School provides a Christ-centered and student-focused environment that equips young people in their educational and spiritual journeys to be servant-leaders in the world.
Our school tagline "It's Personal" was created with help from students, alumni and parents to describe the overall experience at SLHS. "It's Personal" is about our ability to provide SLHS students personalized, one-on-one daily attention, greater opportunity to be an active part of athletics or social clubs they may not get at a larger school, a personal relationship with Christ and personal development with dynamic teachers for a better educational experience.

Opened in 1978 in West Seattle, Seattle Lutheran High School educates students to Confidence, Hope, Integrity and Passion so they may make a positive difference in the world. Our students are scholars, artists, volunteers, thespians, athletes, and robotic programmers, to name a few. The philosophy of SLHS is shaped by tenets of the Christian faith, as interpreted by the Lutheran Confessions.
Seattle Lutheran opened its doors in 1978 and welcomed 82 students, 49 freshmen and 33 sophomores, from as far as Federal Way to Edmonds and grew from there. Today, that still holds true as students attend from the greater Seattle area and seven countries around the world. On average, 97% of our graduates matriculate to colleges and universities around the nation.
Student and Parent Tours -We enjoy showing students and families around our West Seattle campus, and we are happy to finally be able to schedule appointments for students and parents to tour the campus while students are not in attendance. Application - All applicants must submit an online application, including an application fee of $50 which will be invoiced upon submittal.
Interested in robotics but love to play soccer? Do you love the stage, but enjoy giving back to the community? At SLHS you can do all those things! We invite you to join us as we talk about these programs and many others that students can participate and excel in while at SLHS. Seattle Lutheran High School has a unique and successful approach to education.

I am currently a freshman, and it's been hard finding a place that work for my learning differences but after I shadowed I saw how well any one and every one get together. Next all the teachers are highly qualified in any thing they change and are able to still keep it fun and challenging. Finally the discovery program they have is one of the best
