A day-of coordinator is the designated point-person who works closely with the couple and their vendors in the days leading up to their wedding, during the wedding itself and immediately after the wedding. Wow!! Marie at PlanningLA went above and beyond to help us navigate and plan our wedding during covid. We had to postpone our wedding a few times due to covid lockdowns and restrictions so we were extremely stressed. I hired Planning LA (ai International) to help me with my wedding and it was probably the best decision I made. Reggie, Connie, and Marie at AI International were our planners and coordinators for our wedding this past May at the Metropol in Glendale, CA. Reggie and his team found us amazing vendors to make our day that much more special. We told them what we wanted for our big day and they did everything that we asked and more. If there's one thing that I look for whenever I'm working with another vendor or whenever I'm hiring someone is that they are passionate about what they do. A company that is passionate about their business and their mission will go above and beyond to make sure that you're taken care of especially on such important events in your life. This team was literally a God-send 2 months before my wedding when my original wedding planner cancelled on me! I had contacted Reggie the day she cancelled and he was more than happy to help! I lived in Dallas, the Ai team was in LA, and the wedding was in San Diego but I never at any time felt this was a challenge at all. Reggie and Connie would answer all my crazy late night texts and calls very promptly and never let me feel stressed at all. The combination of a destination wedding and hectic personal schedules required my fiancé and I to hire a wedding planner. But given that we were working with a tight budget, finding a professional and yet affordable wedding planner was daunting. However, we were referred to Reggie by a friend who used AI International to plan her wedding.

Reggie and Connie are superb! Truly! I sought them out merely looking for someone to decorate the Chuppah for my wedding. However, once I realized how skilled their design team is and how reasonable their pricing structure is, I ended up having them do nearly all the design for my wedding. As a day of coordinator, the way that they prepared me for an event made me feel very confident and I learned that they understand the logistics on how to very well plan and coordinate an event. Reggie and his AI international staff exceeded our expectations. We had 6 months to plan a wedding with 400 plus guests. I told the AI team exactly what I wanted and they just took over from there!! Our wedding was a inter-racial wedding and I expected it to be a challenge to combine the traditions from both cultures. ..yet AI nailed it.
Our wedding was a total success..from the decor, the drone, the open bar, the time line, etc. Reggie MC'd and he even had some of the conservative old folks on the floor laughing!

In the event planning space- it's definitely hit or miss in Southern California when seeking out companies that are consistently great. So, it's refreshing when a young ambitious company comes in not only providing a fresh and authentic perspective when planning/coordinating an event but knows how to effectively manage cost and expectations within their client's budget.
